Today's words are from our Daily Bread 3 April

My followers of Christ I start this lesson for the joy within my heart. These times can bring forth the worst that this earthly word can give but to the faithful this is just another earthly block in your path. Believe and keep your eyes on the Lord.

I first bring you

James 1:12-13

12] Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

[13] Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

Now

We are sowers of the word especially in these times to bring faith and understanding not only to the believes but to those in destress. Kindness, and the word will bring joy to all

2Timothy 1-8

[1] I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

[2] Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

[3] For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

[4] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

[5] But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

[6] For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

[7] I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

[8] Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Lord I pray that many of your word will find a way to bring to those who need it most and those who are starting or letting the earthly things of this world cast doubts on their faith. These times brith forth storms of all kinds. I pray that God will lift up your voice for all to hear.

I pray in his precious name Jesus Christ. Amen
