Glade Spring Church of God The Glade Spring Church of God was originally established by J.L. Debord and his wife Sue in 1970. He served as Pastor for 40 years.

We have a great time and the spirit of God is truly moving! On April 28th 2011 we were destroyed by a tornado that passed through now we are rebuilding better than ever!! God knew what we were going to need. We completed rebuild in 220 days thanks be to God. RandR contractors of Abingdon did the work. Thank God for Rodney Ray his family and crew:) we were back in church November 14th 2011.

We had a great men’s breakfast this morning! 49 in attendance! The ladies cooked a delicious breakfast to honor the men for Father’s Day! Special thanks to those who cooked and those ladies who brought food this morning! Thanks to Marina for the wonderful devotion on her best friends: her dad and her Heavenly Father! Thanks also to Vida for speaking about Fathers and bringing gifts for all of the dads today!

Just a reminder, Wednesday, June 10, 2026, the youth will be at the youth building and regular church will be downstairs at the church. Some wonderful ladies cleaned the carpet in the sanctuary!!! Praise the Lord!! See you tomorrow night!!! And don’t forget about Bible school!!!
