Unity Spiritual Centre Girard Unity is a global, inclusive, spiritual community that emphasizes prayer, positive affirmations, spiritual healing, and practical Christianity.

If I had a dollar for every time I've heard, "I'm not an artist."
People, creativity is not FOR artists. It is for ALL.

If you feel shy about painting in front of others or showing your work, that is normal. Wouldn't it be amazing to create for yourself and be unattached to what others think?!

Process painting helps us unwind all these negative associations and patterns we've created around creativity and art. It's all about the process and NOT the product.

This Friday, May 29th at 7pm, Unity Spiritual Center’s Worthy Class, an established and ongoing LGBTQ+ educational program, will host a special session dedicated to exploring the depth, resilience, and ongoing impact of LGBTQ+ history—welcoming all members of the community to attend.

This special session of Worthy Class offers a unique opportunity for individuals of all backgrounds to engage more deeply with the stories, movements, and people who have shaped LGBTQ+ identity and visibility over time.

The evening will feature special guest historianRobin Perry, who will provide insight and context into the lived experiences and pivotal moments that continue to inform today’s LGBTQ+ community.

From the courage of those at the Stonewall Uprising to the advocacy of trailblazers like Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera, this session reinforces a central message: LGBTQ+ people have always been here—and always will be.

Attendees can expect an engaging and reflective experience that blends historical education with community dialogue, fostering connection, understanding, and affirmation. All are welcome to attend.
