Building Resources

Financial resources matter, but they are only one part of the picture. We also need emotional resources, spiritual resources, supportive relationships, knowledge, and hope. Life becomes more stable when we intentionally build these resources before a crisis arrives.

Scripture repeatedly points to the wisdom of preparation. Joseph stored grain during years of abundance so Egypt could survive famine. The Proverbs encourage planning and stewardship. God's people are called not merely to survive but to develop the resources needed to thrive and help others.

When we grow closer to God, strengthen relationships, learn new skills, and invest in our health, we are participating in God's design for flourishing. Resource-building is not selfish. It positions us to be a blessing to others when difficult seasons come. Meghan

Elevated Youth (ages 13 and up) meets at 10AM every Sunday.
Kids in Motion meets Sunday mornings during the 11AM service.
Nursery is available.
There is something for everyone.

One of the things we have seen a lot in our world today is the belief that strength means doing everything alone. Scripture paints a different picture.

God's design has always included community.

Healing Happens in Community!

So many times when we see a changed life, it happens because they discovered they were not alone. Transformation does not only come from information!
Hope grows when people realize others have faced similar struggles and found a way forward.

Community creates a safe space for growth and life to flourish!

God never intended us to carry every burden by ourselves. Sometimes His answer to our prayers arrives in the form of a caring friend, a mentor, a church member, or a supportive group. The strength of community reminds us that we are part of something larger than ourselves. Meghan

Many people struggle with boundaries because they have never learned that boundaries are ok. In fact, they are necessary. Sometimes people say yes when they mean no. They take responsibility for problems they cannot solve. This leads to one feeling exhausted, resentful, and disconnected from the very people they want to help.

Jesus modeled healthy boundaries throughout His ministry. He loved people deeply, yet He did not meet every demand placed upon Him. He withdrew to pray and rest. He understood that obedience to the Father was more important than pleasing everyone around Him.

Healthy boundaries are not walls that keep people out. They are guardrails that help us. We all have work to do and sometimes we have to say no to things that are good, but not the best for us, or for others. Every time we say yes to one thing, we are saying no to something else. Meghan
