Go. Love. Until They Ask Why.

When you think of Death Valley, what do you think of? Beautiful, blooming flowers, right? Probably not, but on occasion, there is an ecological event that happens called a SUPERBLOOM. When this occurs, it is often after many years of a very specific amount of rainfall especially in the fall and winter months. The environment is right for some of the most lovely wildflowers you could imagine. The seeds were buried in the ground, but the conditions were not right for growth into what they were meant to become. They had to wait for the right time to show their beauty.

We’ve all come through a pretty significant amount of rainfall. It looks different for all of us. It feels a bit different for all of us, but I know we are all feeling worse for the wear right now. That being said, the Death Valley SUPERBLOOM is a real thing and it can be in your life too.

God puts certain ideas and dreams (seeds) in our hearts sometimes years before they become reality. The desert times were here for sure, and the rain has come. Be ready for the blooming to begin, but remember that we will need to do the work that is necessary to make this happen.

God wants to give us the desires of our hearts. He wants to bless us with good things and He does not deposit things in our hearts without wanting to give it to us. He wants us to partner with Him in this.

When you feel like you’re in a desert space and you don’t think that the beautiful things you envision for your life can be a reality, remember the superbloom that comes after the conditions of dryness and even rain.

It will be worth it to be patient for God has some lovely things in store -
Meghan

Art on a Mission: The Sell and Swap Fundraiser

Join us for a day of creativity with a cause!

Whether you are looking for a unique new piece of art or need to refresh your craft room, Art on a Mission has something for everyone. We will be highlighting local artist, Kristena Pivovar, selling stock for the Youth Mission Trip and inviting crafters to exchange materials in a community-wide supply swap.

How it Works:

SHOP: Browse beautiful, finished pieces from talented local artist to support her husband’s ongoing cancer treatment.

SWAP: Bring your extra yarn, fabric, beads, or tools and trade them for something "new-to-you" at our supply exchange station.

GIVE: Buy a stock from your favorite youth to fund their mission trip to the Near West Side of Cleveland, this summer. July 19-23, 2026.

Date: Sunday, May 31, 2026
Time: After Worship (around 12:15pm)
Location: Fellowship Hall
