This Sunday at The Anchor Church, we’re stepping into one of the darkest and most sobering chapters in Scripture — 1 Samuel 28.

Saul had spent years resisting God’s voice… and now, in desperation, he goes searching for answers in all the wrong places.

It’s a chapter about fear, compromise, silence, and what happens when we keep running from the Lord instead of running to Him.

But even in the heaviness of this story, there’s a reminder for us:
God is still calling people back to Himself.

This Sunday at The Anchor
1 Samuel 24

David had the perfect opportunity.
The moment was right.
No one would have questioned it.

And still… he chose restraint over revenge. He chose obedience over opportunity.

Just because you can… doesn’t mean you should.

What do you do when you have the chance to get even?
