This upcoming third Sunday of the month is "Can Sunday." The parish asks each family to bring a can or other non-perishable foodstuff to Sunday Mass. The collected items will be given to the food bank of South County Community Services, formerly Saint Joseph's Family Center.

El próximo tercer domingo del mes es el «Domingo de las Latas». La parroquia pide a cada familia que traiga una lata u otro alimento no perecedero a la misa dominical. Los artículos recolectados se destinarán al banco de alimentos de South County Community Services, anteriormente conocido como Saint Joseph's Family Center.

On Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14, we will honor all our graduates, praying for them at all the Masses. We will honor them in a special way with a Baccalaureate Mass at 9:00 am and 11:00 am on June 14. We encourage those graduating from Kindergarten, Eighth Grade, High School, College or University to come in cap and gown, if they are able. Please call the office with the name of the graduate and the degree obtained and whether they are attending the 9:00 am or 11:00 Mass so we can acknowledge them by name. They will walk in the entrance procession and have reserved seats in the front at those masses.

El sábado 13 y el domingo 14 de junio honraremos a todos nuestros graduados, orando por ellos en todas las misas. Les rendiremos un homenaje especial con una Misa de Graduación a las 9:00 y a las 11:00 de la mañana. Animamos a quienes se gradúan de kínder, octavo grado, preparatoria, colegio o universidad a que asistan con toga y birrete, si les es posible. Por favor, llamen a la oficina para indicar el nombre del graduado, el título obtenido y si asistirá a la misa de las 9:00 o a la de las 11:00 para que podamos reconocerlo por su nombre. Participarán en la procesión de entrada y tendrán asientos reservados en la parte delantera durante esas misas.

Pledge Weekend is this weekend. Whether you received pledge materials at home or not, please consider if you family is able to assist the Sowing Seeds of Faith Campaign. Ample materials will be available in this church this weekend for those who were not sent Campaign materials.

Today we give thanks for a truly remarkable milestone in the life of Father Michael Hendrickson as he celebrates 25 years of priesthood- a quarter century of saying yes to God’s call and faithfully serving God’s people- and birthday! Both on the same day.

In these 25 years, Father Michael has walked with countless families through life’s most sacred moments: hundreds of baptisms, weddings, First Holy Communions, funerals, confessions, and everyday encounters of grace. Many have been blessed not just by his ministry, but by his steady presence, his pastoral heart, and his deep commitment forged through his experience as a military chaplain and servant leader.

We invite you to join us in honoring him on June 14 at 1:00pm for a bilingual Mass of Thanksgiving, followed by a reception as we gather as a parish family to celebrate, remember, and give thanks.
