In addition, we travel ministering the Word of Faith to people in rural areas of the western U.S. No group too small, we minister by invitation at ranches, churches, barrel futurities and rodeos. There are scriptures that a person can read, and they KNOW that scripture, and then one day, BAM! you get a fresh look. That happened to me Sunday. Mike was preaching on depression/healing. And in the middle of that, God had him say, “If God knows the number of hairs on your head, or lack thereof, there isn’t a prayer He doesn’t hear, no matter how small it may seem to us.” Luke 12:6-7. Think about that. God knows the hairs on my head. And not just me. Everyone in the past, now, and in the future. That’s a lot of hairs! How can we ever get to a place in our life where we think God isn’t interested in us? Or that He is so busy with world peace that He can’t help me when I get a hangnail? We get those knucklehead ideas because we don’t know His word, or we don’t receive His great love for us. Stupid, stupid, stupid! Trust Him. Know Him, just like He knows us and our hairy selves!

Is trusting God difficult for you? Do you think that you can fix stuff? And when all else fails, you say, “Well, all we can do is pray….” Friend, the first thing we should do is pray! I’m an action person. “Here, let me do it.” “I can figure this out.” “Let me help!” Honestly, sometimes my actions just get in the way of God getting something fixed. I repent. We all have issues in our life. And we all have strengths. God given strengths. But when we think they are ours and we know what to do, we are taking on God’s part and those talents can become a stumbling block for us. Me helping for example. This is a foreign thought to me, but did you know that some people don’t want help??? LOL! I’m very organized. Did you know that some people don’t care if they are organized? What is wrong with them?? Nothing. If we let God lead in everything, we will be a lot less frustrated with others, and with ourselves. We’ll appreciate, and enjoy, the differences in each other. We will come to realize that God doesn’t make mistakes and with Him first place, together we will get stuff fixed! And fixed right! Love Him first, and then yourself, this week!

Since I was about 12, I have made this statement. “I never, ever, never, never, never, ever enter a judged event.” And I have happily spouted this to whoever will listen ever since. Probably had something to do with 4-H horse shows, princess contests and who knows what else. I learned early that a timer was no one’s opinion of how well I did or how I looked. AND, I still feel that way. Some things never change. LOL! BUT! There is a judged event, however, that I’m looking forward to. Romans 8. When we stand before our Lord and Savior, IF He is our Lord and Savior, we will be judged NOT GUILTY because of all He has done for us. How do we get there? Romans 10:8-13. My track record of sinning, not sinning, has been erratic. But I know that when I ask for His forgiveness, He is faithful and just to forgive me. I Jn. 1:9. Our very good God loves you and me. As His children, we have nothing to fear on judgment day! For we will all be winners!
