As we wrap up our “official” meetings for children and youth for the 2025-2026, we’d like to say Thank You to our children/youth, their parents, the volunteers, and the congregation for supporting our ministries.

Today we had a great Children’s Day, a picnic at the park, playtime on the playground, and some gardening at the church.

We’re codenaming this summer, “Operation Love the Animals”. We will be visiting the shelter and collecting items for the next two and half months. Stay tuned to our social media for details.

Worship continue on its regular schedule - 1st and 3rd Sundays at 4:00 PM. Our next worship is Father’s Day. All are invited to attend! Whether it’s your first or one millionth time, we’re happy to have you join us to worship Him.

Here’s our prayer for today, a simple reminder, of today’s message of LOVE:

Dear God, Thank You for loving us so much. Fill us with Your love like a watering can filled with water. Help us share kindness, compassion, and joy with everyone we meet. May Your love grow in our hearts and spread through our church, our families, and our community.

God’s garden is alive and well here in Conesville; take a look around. It’s in our children, our neighbors, the flowers blooming, the birds singing.

A seed cannot make itself grow. It needs someone to plant it and care for it.
God's love is like that.
God plants good things inside us:
kindness,
patience,
joy,
compassion,
and faith.
Sometimes we grow quickly.
Sometimes we grow slowly.
But God never stops caring for us.
Just as a gardener checks on plants every day, God watches over us and helps us become who we were created to be.

Our animal shelter collection has started. There is one box at the church and one at the town hall - more to be announced.

The Conesville UMC Sunday School is collecting supplies for one of our local animal shelters. They have drop boxes placed throughout the community, including here at the Conesville Town Hall. Please feel free to bring your donations during our regular hours. 😊

Sunday School was a blast today! We sang & danced, watched an experiment about how Jesus washes away sins, talked about seeds and how love is like seeds and the fruits multiplies in God’s goodness, and we made collection boxes for an upcoming Animal Shelter service project! See post for details!

Thank for ALL of your support last week at our Mother’s Day Breakfast Buffet.

For the donations toward the food,
For the volunteers at the breakfast,
For those that came and enjoyed breakfast and to those that went above and beyond with monetary donations,
We are grateful for having you in our community.

We profited around $1600 to put toward our utilities & our ministries.

We hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day and is enjoying the great weather.
