Today we remember and give thanks for the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

We’re grateful for the freedoms we enjoy and for the many sacrifices made to protect them. As we reflect this Memorial Day, we pray for God’s comfort, peace, and strength for the families of those who served.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for worship this weekend at Peace. May the Lord continue to lead us to live with grateful hearts and steadfast faith.

Today we celebrate Pentecost and give thanks for the gift of the Holy Spirit. ❤️🔥

On Pentecost, God fulfilled His promise by sending the Holy Spirit to His people, empowering them to boldly share the message of Jesus Christ. The Church was born, and the gospel began spreading to the nations.

What a blessing to know that the same Spirit continues to work through God’s Word today, creating faith, strengthening hearts, and pointing us to our Savior.

Come, Holy Spirit, come.

Pastors forming pastors to proclaim God’s praise.

May 20–22, Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary will hold a series of graduation events celebrating students who have prepared for lives of service in gospel ministry.

These days culminate in the assignment of future pastors into congregations and ministries where they will proclaim God’s Word, shepherd his people, and serve Christ’s church for years to come.

We give thanks for the professors, families, congregations, and fellow students who have encouraged and supported them along the way, and we pray God blesses these future pastors as they begin their ministry.

✨ Bible Verse of the Week ✨

Psalm 118:24 – “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

What a beautiful reminder that every single day is a gift from the Lord. No matter what circumstances we may face, God calls us to rejoice in His goodness, faithfulness, and love. Each new day is an opportunity to experience His grace, walk in His promises, and give thanks for all He has done.

It can be easy to get caught up in worries, stress, or distractions, but this verse encourages us to pause and remember who is in control. Because the Lord has made this day, we can face it with joy, hope, and confidence in Him.

As you go through this week, take time to celebrate the blessings around you and rejoice in the gift of today. God is present, faithful, and worthy of our praise in every season.

Join us as we gather around God’s Word and rejoice together in the goodness of our Savior.

🗓 Weekly Opportunities at Peace:

• Sunday Bible Study
Join us following worship at 10:45 A.M. as we dive deeper into God’s Word together. Everyone is welcome!

• Tuesday Midweek Bible Study
Meets at 10:00 A.M. and is currently studying the book of Romans. Come grow in faith and fellowship with us!

• Saturday “Cup of Joe”
Gather with us at Encanterra for fellowship beginning at 8:00 A.M. followed by Bible Study at 9:00 A.M. Please speak with Joseph Orr for more information.

• Peace Kids & Women’s Bible Study
Both groups will resume this fall — stay tuned for more details!

• Bible Information Classes
Are you new to Peace and would like to know more about that the Bible is all about? Would you like a refresher course since it has been a while since you've walked through the basics what the Bible is all about? Bible Information Classes are a great start!
