A messy life is not evidence of an absent God.
We’re quick to look at the chaos and wonder, “Where is God in all of this?” But God’s faithfulness isn’t measured by how put-together our lives appear.
He is just as present in the season you wouldn’t post as He is in the one you would.
Don’t mistake messy for godless. God is still at work.

Waiting has a way of making us question what we once believed.
Maybe the silence feels too long.
Maybe the circumstances don’t make sense.
Maybe you’re wondering if God will actually come through.
But faith isn’t confidence that you can hold on long enough. It’s confidence that God will remain faithful.
The waiting may test you.
It doesn’t change Him.

Faith doesn’t require you to see the whole path.
You don’t need all the answers.
You don’t need to know how everything will work out.
The question is simply: What has God already told you to do?
Forgive. Confess. Reconcile. Give. Have the conversation. Share Christ. Keep showing up. Stay faithful.
You may not know what comes after that—but if God has spoken, you have enough to take the next step.
Take God at His Word. Then take the next step.

You don’t have to approach God wondering if He’s disappointed in you.
You don’t have to come hesitantly, waiting for judgment to fall.
Because of the work of Jesus, you have been cleansed.
Jesus has made a way for you to come near.

Stop looking to yourself for the hope only Christ can provide.
That’s the good news of the gospel.

The gospel changes everything.
Holiness is no longer a burden you must carry to earn God’s love.
It becomes an act of worship because you already have it.
We don’t obey to gain God’s approval.
We obey because, in Christ, we already have it.
That changes pursuing righteousness from duty to delight, from pressure to praise, from striving to worship.
And that is amazing news.

Jesus is a better Priest because He has a better ministry.
His work isn’t rooted in an earthly tabernacle, a temporary system, or a broken world.
His ministry is heavenly.
Right now, Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father, reigning, interceding, and mediating for His people.
The old priests stood because their work was never finished.
Jesus sat down because it was.

Why do we keep trying to be our own priest?
Trying to fix ourselves.
Trying to carry our guilt.
Trying to earn what He already purchased.
You don’t need another priest.
You already have a permanent one.
