All are invited to an ecumenical community Baccalaureate Service celebrating the Gilbert High School Class of 2026. The service will be held at Gilbert Lutheran Church on Wednesday, May 13, at 7:00 p.m.
This non-denominational celebration brings together graduating students, their families, school staff and the wider community. Through music, scripture, prayer, and reflection, we give thanks to God for our graduates and ask for guidance, care and grace as they enter the next stage of life.
Reflections will be shared by student speaker Evie Christenson, high school staff member Nate Graham and community pastor Mark Vance. Music will be provided by Gilbert High School’s Tiger Voices, community members Jacob Boyd and Abigail Randall, the Gilbert Lutheran Church Quartet and Amanda Jennings.
An offering will be received during the service. Gifts will benefit the Tru-Hero Memorial – Inspired by Kindness, Driven by Courage Fund. This memorial honors Darrell Trujillo, the late husband of Gilbert Community School District Superintendent Christine Trujillo. Contributions will help continue sharing Darrell’s courageous spirit and kindness throughout the community.
Refreshments will be served following the service.
Again, all are invited to attend this service.
