With heavy hearts we say goodbye to our dear friend and member of our church, Dee Peterson. Her funeral will be on Thursday, November 9th at the Gilbert Community Church at 11 AM. Pastor Mary Lou will officiate. A visitation will be an hour before the service. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and our congregation. Our deepest sympathies to her beloved family.

Join us as we remember the story that is at the heart of our faith, the story of Jesus’ last night and day. The story that ends with His ex*****on at the hands of political and religious leaders. Jesus became the servant who was despised and crushed. Today we linger on the path of his suffering, and accompany Him to His grave. Services will begin at 6:00 PM at the Gilbert Community Church on Wisconsin Avenue in Gilbert, MN.

With heavy hearts we say goodbye to our dear friend and member of our church, Mary Thesing. The visitation will be on Monday, February 20th at the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shavata Funeral Home from 4-6. Her funeral will be on Tuesday, February 21st at the Gilbert Community Church at 11 AM. Pastor Mary Lou will officiate. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and our congregation. Our deepest sympathies to her beloved family.

With heavy hearts we say goodbye to our dear friend and member of our church, Gerri Makela. The visitation will be on Wednesday, September 29th at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shavata Funeral Home from 5-7. Pastor Mary Lou will lead a prayer service at 6:30. Her funeral will be on Thursday at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 10 AM. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and our congregation.

Sadly our friend and longtime member of the Gilbert Community Church, Alice Johnson, has passed. She will be greatly missed by her family and church family.
Visitation will be at 10 on Thursday, July 7th, with her funeral to follow at 11:00. Both will be at the Gilbert Community Church. Pastor Mary Lou Sixberry officiating.

Join us as we enter Holy Week by celebrating with Jesus, Palm Sunday. It’s a week of exaltation and joy, Passover sacrifice and betrayal, death and life as we travel the terrain of Holy Week. Such are the waters that sweep through the holy mystery of faith; waters that reveal joy and the cost of discipleship. Pastor Mary Lou will reflect on these scriptures as we prepare ourselves for the week ahead. The Gilbert Community Church is located on Wisconsin Avenue in Gilbert. Services begin at 9:30 AM with Sunday School available for all children.
