Meet Julie Keeling! ⭐️🌺

Julie is our Life Discipleship Coordinator and Camp Coordinator! Julie has been on staff for 21 years, serving in Youth, Wedding and Special Events, and Life Discipleship along the way. She works alongside Brian and Brett Berger to organize discipleship opportunities on our campus and partners with an incredible team across all Redemption campuses to plan our summer and winter camps.

Q&A:
What is something you are secretly good at?
I would like to think that I am a pretty good cook. Especially for large events or groups. I went to Culinary school and I enjoy cooking which comes in handy when feeding my family of 7!

How did you end up at Redemption Gilbert?
I have attended Redemption Gilbert (EVBC) for 28 years. My parents began attending when I was in junior high. Coincidentally, my husband’s family also started attending at the same time. We both grew up in our Youth Ministry. Once we graduated, we began serving in Youth.

Meet Kevin Mueller! 🤙🌲

Kevin is part of our Facilities and Landscaping team here at Redemption Gilbert! He never fails to make people laugh, and he plays a key role in keeping our campus looking great and running smoothly, week in and week out — and we’re so grateful for the hard work he puts in behind the scenes.

What is your go-to food order?
Sausage and pepperoni, thin crust, Chicago pizza from Rosati’s.

What does “All of Life is All for Jesus” look like on a regular day?
“All of Life is All for Jesus” means that Jesus is always, everywhere, all the time, in every situation and when you are with others, no matter what may be their level of belief in Jesus. Faith, attitude, and your commitment to Jesus doesn’t change to accommodate the audience.

Meet Faith Herrera! ☕✨
Faith serves as our Commons Coffeehouse Manager, overseeing the daily operations of our community-focused coffeehouse and ministry space. She's also actively involved in Youth Ministries, investing in the spiritual growth of the next generation. Faith has been on staff for 23 years and part of our church family for 30+ years — we're so grateful for her faithfulness!

Q&A:

What's one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?
I absolutely love being outdoors and hiking! I'm as slow as a turtle, but don't let my pace fool you I just keep going. I've hiked Mt. Humphreys Peak, made it all the way to the top of Flat Iron (yes, the very top!) and even hiked down and back up the Grand Canyon in one day. I'm not the fastest, but I'm determined. Once I set my mind to reaching the top or the end of the trail I don't quit.

What does "all of life is all for Jesus" look like on a Tuesday?
It looks like serving others with joy whether that's making coffee for our amazing customers at the Commons, taking time to learn their stories or simply being present in each conversation. Tuesday afternoons are usually spent catching up with friends over Taco Tuesday, supporting local businesses, and enjoying the community God has placed me in.
I've learned that following Jesus isn't just about the big moments. It's about being faithful in the ordinary loving people well, serving with a grateful heart and looking for opportunities to reflect Christ wherever He has me.

Faith's steady, joyful presence at the Commons and her heart for our youth are such a gift to this church family. We're so thankful for her! Let Faith know how appreciated she is! 💬🙌

Our Alaska team made it home safely yesterday after a week of serving at Tanalian Bible Camp! 🏔️🌲
Thank you for your prayers and for your generosity. We’re so grateful for the way God worked in and through this team, and we can’t wait to hear the stories and see the ways He moved throughout the week! 🙌
