14 people took a next step in their faith and got baptized this last Sunday! Some did it because they experienced a huge change in their lives they can only attribute to God, some did it because they wanted to put Jesus in the driver seat of their lives once and for all, some did it because they are growing up and want to follow Jesus for the rest of their lives, and some did it out of thanksgiving for being faithful for their lives up until that point. Everyone had their reason, but all of them did it to publicly proclaim their faith in Jesus. What a reason to celebrate!

Baptism marks an important moment in the life of every person when they choose to follow Jesus. Think of it as a welcoming into God’s family and a physical marker of a spiritual fresh start.

Baptism is a public declaration of a personal faith for someone who has experienced God’s grace and is choosing to leave their old life behind and commit to a new life following Christ.
