We received Jake into membership on Feb 15. It was encouraging to witness his public profession of faith and the sacrament of baptism!

Last weekend, the women of Gig Harbor URC gathered for a women's retreat. Our three days together were filled with kayaking, games, watercolor painting, and sharing meals and time together! We were blessed with an amazing speaker who talked deeply about trusting God and looked to the biblical examples of Sarah, Ruth, and Esther. We grew in our faith, and were reminded that God can be trusted in the unexpected, in times of necessity, and in times of crisis.
We considered God's accomplishment and incredible work in Sarah by giving her faith and strength! Trust in God for the impossible; God is faithful to His promises, and none of them are empty. (Hebrews 11:11)
