🐟 Help us complete our VBS Wish List! 🐟

These last few fish are still looking for a home! If you’re able to donate or lend any of the items below, grab a fish and turn it in by Sunday, August 2.

A few items we’d love to borrow:
1 folding clothesline
5 blankets for kids to sit on
1 bowling ball (8 lbs or less)
5 working flashlights

Please let us know if you can lend any of these for VBS — or if you’d like to donate any of the remaining items on our list. Every fish counts! 💙

Activities:

1. Sample bites and drinks of wild plants found in our NW woods at our home first, then,
2. Walk through a natural NW forest, part of a conservation area near our home, requiring about 2 miles round trip on mostly level trails (a little uphill here and there, but moderate). We will become familiar with native trees, shrubs, ferns, & flowering herbs as pathways to knowing them for survival. This is a natural conserve on the upper Key Peninsula area.

Join us for a beautiful hike at Fort Flagler State Park on Sat. July 25th

This is an easy to moderate 5-mile stroll along bluff, meadow and forest.

The views of Admiralty Inlet, Port Townsend Bay, Whidbey Island, etc., are excellent. Along the way we will have the opportunity to explore some of the fort’s well-preserved structures so bring a flashlight with you - some of the semi-underground passageways are dark. Be sure to pack a lunch for a picnic at the park’s beach front day use area after our hike. And there is a wonderful little country store where we stop for ice cream on the way home!

Fort Flagler State Park is about a 90-minute drive from Gig Harbor. Meet at PLC at 7:00 AM and return by 4:00 PM. The State Park requires a Discover Pass for parking and we can car pool for those who do not have one.

🇸🇻 El Salvador Food Bank Fundraiser + Independence Day BBQ! 🇺🇸

Join us July 5th at 11:15 AM, right after service. The Angel Family is cooking authentic El Salvadorian BBQ. Food is FREE, donations welcome.

All donations support the Angel Family’s food bank in El Salvador, providing groceries, clothes, and care to neighbors back home who have nowhere else to turn.

Come hungry, invite your friends and family, and celebrate with us!
