This morning we are celebrating the Lord’s Supper. In the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod we believe, teach and confess that our Lord’s holy body and blood are truly present in with and under the bread and the w**e and are given and shed for the forgiveness of sins. (Real Presence) Members of sister LC–MS congregations that would like to commune today, please inform the elder at the stand in the narthex. If you are a member of another church please speak with the Pastor 30 minutes prior to the service. Gluten Free Communion Wafers are available. Contact pastor if you need one.

FALL FESTIVAL: St. John Lincoln will have a Fall Festival on Saturday October 24 starting at 3 pm. at the FLC. Children’s games and hay rides. Food served at 5 pm Hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos and all the fixins. Come enjoy some good akd fashion fun and fellowship. There is a sign[up sheet in the narthex to help with games, crafts and food.
OKTOBERFEST: Faith Lutheran High School will have their Annual Ocktoberfest on Saturday October 24 at the Holy Cross Warda picnic grounds. German Plate Meal $15 from 11 am til 1 pm. Preorder only at 979-242-2889 by October 15th. Other activities include polka band from 11:30 a, to 3:30 pm. 42 and corn hole tournaments, concession and b**r stands, kids games and hay rides 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, silent auction closes at 3:30 pm, live auction begins at 4 pm.
LUTHERAN WITNESS: It is time for the annual Lutheran Witness subscription renewal. If you currently do not receive this magazine and wish to get it please inform pastor. If you want to cancel or you need an address change let pastor know by October 18th.
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM PRACTICE: Yes it is time to start thinking about Christmas. Brook and Kristy will be directing this year’s program and are needing to know who will be participating. All children are encouraged to get involved especially our tuition assistance students. Practice will begin in November. Program will be December 20th.
GRIEFSHARE: Greifshare Surviving the Holidays will be held on Sunday November 8th from 2-4 pm in the Fellowship Hall of Immanuel Lutheran Church. A suggested $5 charge for a book with over 50 daily readings. For more info call 512-461-5442 or email at [email protected].
