Ladies, we are having a hard time shaking this stomach bug. This Thursday I am canceling as well to prevent spreading this.

Please do session 1 personal study independently. Next Thursday, June 1st, we will start session 2.

Ladies! Important announcement for the next couple of weeks.

Unfortunately, my son has been throwing up so I’m going to cancel tomorrow’s Bible study. I ask that you do the between-sessions personal study on pages 9 - 18 on your own. We will discuss the homework on Thursday 5/25.

I realize that iStroll has an event for kids that same day. No worries, if you want to go to that event. That’s why I’m asking for you to do the homework on your own between now and then.

Thank you everyone who came to the first study for Session 1 - Cozy in the Culture.

If you missed, no worries! To help catch up, please read in the Bible Esther chapters 1 & 2.

Next class we will do a brief recap and go over the homework for session 1 together. I know it’s tough doing the homework on our own time with kids, families, life, side hustles, etc. We will work on it in our next class.

Welcome to the SAHM Bible Study page! Our first study will start in May! The plan is to meet on Thursday’s at 10:30am 😊 we will be studying the book of Esther through a guided study book authored by Max Lucado. The book is called You We’re Made For This Moment. The Amazon Link for the book is below.

Max Lucado has published many Christian-based books and studies that are very good! He is based out of San Antonio, TX. I have had the privilege to visit his church in person! I’m very excited to go through this study with everyone.

The book structure consists of a WELCOME section, SHARE section of what you have learned from the homework, READ section to kick off the study, a WATCH video that we will watch together in person during the study, DISCUSS questions, and a RESPOND section before we wrap up with prayer. What I love most is there are in between-sessions PERSONAL STUDY as homework for each of us on our own before the next class. It is 4 days worth of short personal study.

The Amazon link contains an excerpt of the first chapter so you have a visual of how the study is structured.

If you aren’t able to do the homework, please come anyway! The purpose is to have faith-based community and learn together. We want your presence!

Light refreshments and snacks will be provided and please bring your kiddos to play while we do our thing 😊 let me know if you have any questions!
