Lent is the season of the Church Year when I recognize my greatest needs. During Lent, I realize that in Christ all my greatest needs are met. God knows what I need even when I don’t have any idea. The Holy Spirit makes it clear, week after week, that if I lack Christ, I have nothing. But if I have Christ, I have exactly what I need.

Losing someone you love is difficult. Losing them and having no answers for the grief and heartache brings more pain and sadness. Jesus gives us comfort to hold on to for our own future, and for the future of those we love who fall asleep forever with faith in him!

Gibsonia friends - If you've been affected by the government shut down and are in need of food, please make use of our Blessing Box! We keep it stocked each day with dry goods and non-perishable items all year round, and we love that we can support our community in this way.

Our box is located in the upper parking lot just off of N Pioneer Rd and West Hardies. If you stop by and the box is running low on supplies, please call (724) 443-3890 or email [email protected] to let us know, and we'll get it restocked as soon as we can.

If you would like to help support this project or donate food and other goods, you can leave those goods in the crate under the box itself. You can also contact us with the information provided above if you have more questions or would like to know more about what's needed to keep this going for our community.

We cannot express how thankful we are for how the community has supported this project over the past couple years. If you have given in the past, thank you so much!
