MORNING MANNA:

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day.
2 Timothy 4:7–8, NIV

"Don't Quit"

Nobody faced more hardships for sharing his faith than the apostle Paul. Second Corinthians 11 lists some of them: beaten with rods three times, given thirty-nine lashes five times, stoned by an angry mob and left for dead, falsely accused and put in prison several times, shipwrecked, deserted by colleagues when he stood trial. Paul had all these opportunities to be angry and bitter. But near the end of his life, he gives us the secret to living in victory. He said, “I have fought the good fight, finished the course, and kept the faith.” He was saying, “Through all the difficulties, betrayals, and things I didn’t understand, God was in control and leading me to new levels of my destiny.”

Maybe today you need to dig down a little deeper. You’re letting doubt, delays, detours, discouragements, or what someone said cause you to live sour and upset. You need to get your passion back, get your joy back, get your vision back. What happened may not have been fair, but God has beauty for the ashes. Now do your part and keep the faith.

“Father, thank You for being the God who is in control and always leading me to victory. Thank You that You have designed me to fight the good fight of faith and finish my race even when I am hard pressed by it. I declare that I will keep the faith and will one day receive the crown of righteousness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

MORNING MANNA:

Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
Hebrews 1:14, NIV

"Help Just When You Need It"

We all face times when life is so overwhelming that we feel we’re at the breaking point. We may be dealing with an illness, a relationship that’s falling apart, or a setback to our business. We’ve done the right thing, worked hard, but the situation gets worse, and we don’t think we can take any more. It’s not that we don’t have faith; it’s battle fatigue.

God sees what you’re going through, and He knows when it’s too much. The Scripture says, “God is a very present help in times of trouble.” He will send angels to strengthen you, to encourage you, to help lighten that load. They are messengers that God uses to carry out His will, to fight our battles, to push back forces of darkness, and to refresh and reenergize us. Be encouraged that God has already dispatched angels with healing in their wings—with strength, with favor, with fresh vision, with victory. You’re going to feel a supernatural power lifting that load, a new attitude giving you a second wind so you can step up and fulfill your purpose.

“Father, thank You that You know all the things I am carrying, and You make provisions of special strength for me all along the way. Thank You that You even send angels in various forms to minister to my needs. I believe that I have the power to endure whatever I face. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

MORNING MANNA:

When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.
Luke 13:12–13, NIV

"Today Is Your Release"

Jesus was teaching in a synagogue, and He saw a lady who had been bent over and unable to straighten up for eighteen years. After that long, I’m sure she thought it was permanent. It was the Sabbath, and no one was supposed to do any work on that day. The religious leaders were watching to see what Jesus would do. He said that the enemy had bound this woman, had put something on her that was restricting her and keeping her from enjoying her life.

You need to see sickness and every negative thing that’s limiting you as unwelcomed. It’s on foreign territory and has no right to stay. Your body is a temple of the Most High God. Jesus called her forward and said, “Woman, you are loosed from your sickness.” Instantly, she was healed. She stood up straight for the first time in eighteen years. That’s what happens when God releases you from what the enemy put on you: healing comes, freedom comes, victory comes. Receive His word of release from every bo***ge and step into a new day of freedom.

“Father, thank You that I can know You as my Savior, as my Provider, as my Healer, and as my Chain Breaker. Thank You that there is no bo***ge that You have not broken and set me free from. I receive Your release from every force that has been holding me back. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

MORNING MANNA:

I am free in every way from anyone’s control.
1 Corinthians 9:19, AMPC

"The Spirit Brings Liberty"

Some people are controllers. They say they’re your friend, tell you how much they love you, but they use guilt to try to manipulate you into doing what they want. They let you know that if you don’t perform a certain way for them, you are disappointing them, hurting their feelings, not being loyal. They’re not interested in you; they’re interested in what you can do for them. But a true friend doesn’t try to pressure you or get upset when you say no. The apostle Paul said he was free in every way from anyone’s control. That’s my prayer for you…that you’re not going to live controlled by people, manipulated into doing things out of guilt, but that you will live your life free. Now do your part and put some boundaries up. Quit acquiescing to everyone’s demands. Remember, if someone is controlling you, it’s not their fault; it’s yours. You have to take action. Don’t go the next twenty years weighed down in unhealthy relationships, toxic relationships, giving in to unrealistic demands. Break free of the control. Today can be a turning point.

“Father, thank You that You created me to live free from controllers, from anyone who uses guilt and manipulation to get their way. Help me to set up healthy boundaries and to take action when someone tries to use me. I commit myself to not acquiescing to others’ demands and to remaining free. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

MORNING MANNA:

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Ephesians 2:10, NLT

"Fearfully and Wonderfully Made"

It’s interesting that a masterpiece never makes itself. Without da Vinci, there is no Mona Lisa painting—just another painted canvas, no big deal. Without Michelangelo, there is no statue of David—just another big slab of marble that others thought was nothing special. The difference was the maker. The good news is that your maker is the Most High God. It’s not up to you to become a masterpiece; that’s His job. You don’t have to strive, perform, and live under pressure. You can relax, knowing that you’re a masterpiece in the making.

You have some flaws, some areas where you need to improve. You’re not finished. The master is still at work. Don’t get discouraged while you’re being changed. Your divine designer knows exactly what you need, when you need it, and where you need it. What looks like a mistake or a flaw to us is not to Him. When He has added some more strokes, more color, more definition, more shadowing, it begins to make sense. When it all comes together, you will become the masterpiece God created you to be.

“Father, thank You that You created me as a masterpiece, down to the smallest detail of what I would need to fulfill Your plan for my life. Thank You that You’re working in my life, and You will bring me to completion. I am looking beyond the messy areas to see the masterpiece in the making. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

MORNING MANNA:

If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.
Proverbs 24:10, NKJV

"Tall Timber in Jehovah's Forest"

It’s interesting that researchers have discovered that if trees grow up in an environment where they don’t have to withstand any wind pressure, their roots don’t develop properly and eventually can’t withstand their own weight. They have a deficiency in what they call “stress wood,” which is essentially the trees’ reaction to wind. Stress wood helps the tree grow stronger and more solidly. Without it, the trees can’t survive. The wind is essential for the tree to flourish and become what it was created to be.

In the same way, without the pressure of difficulties, we wouldn’t develop properly. Don’t complain about the testing. Every day you stand, it’s strengthening you. Your roots are going down deeper. You’re developing courage, strength, and fortitude. Every time you praise when you could complain, you’re developing stress wood. When you keep doing the right thing when the wrong thing is happening, your core is getting strengthened to carry the full weight of God’s blessing. Pass the test and stand tall, strong and flourishing.

Father, thank You that the difficulties and pressures I face are strengthening and are working in me a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. Thank You that they are developing stress wood in the core of my life. I believe I’m going to stand tall and flourish. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
