Cedar Grove Cemetery

Update: Well the temporary fence at the cemetery has been removed. Seeding has begun and they are almost done with all work there. They will continue to water the grass and monitor what needs to be done. I have had the fence put back on the new property line since we will not be replacing the trees. Ride through if you get a chance. What a difference it makes. Its been a long journey I thank everyone for their understanding and patience. I think it will look beautiful when its completed.

Unfortunately the cemetery has encountered the damage of a big pine tree in the front near the road. It was apparently hit by lighting and needs to be removed for safety reasons. This is the only reason we would remove a tree. The work will be done tomorrow so avoid that area if you are in there on April 9th. That being said Sherwin Williams is moving along with the back section. Its been repaved and top soil put down. Seeding will begin shortly. Not exactly sure when it will reopen but soon. I thank everyone for being so patient with this process. Our goal is always to have the cemetery be the best it can be. It takes us all to do that.

As you all know this snow storm has been difficult for everyone including the cemetery. That and having four funerals in ten days has made things very unusual. We will be working to clean things up when possible and remove all Christmas decorations. Sorry about the delay but they can not even be seen at this point. Please bear with us and we all dig out of the storm. We all should want the cemetery to be the best it can be.
