As graduates prepare for what’s ahead, we share this prayer… 🎓

Lord God,
We thank you for the graduates who are stepping into a new chapter of life. Be with them as they step into what comes next.

Give them wisdom as they make decisions about their future, and confidence in your promises.

When they feel uncertain, remind them who they are in you. When they feel overwhelmed, draw them back to your peace.

Help them use their gifts to serve you and others, and keep their hearts rooted in your Word wherever they go.

Keep them close to Jesus, their constant source of truth, hope, and strength.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Share this with a graduate you’re praying for!

A blessed Pentecost Day to all!
🎶 "Holy Spirit, Light divine,
Shine upon this heart of mine,
Chase the gloom of night away,
Turn the darkness into day." Christian Worship '21 #593

The Holy Spirit brings others to believe in Jesus through the gospel we proclaim. Righteousness for humankind was secured by Jesus’ perfect life. The price for sins was paid in full on the cross. The certainty of our resurrection from the dead was declared by Jesus’ resurrection. The King of kin...

Happy Mother's Day! Let us give thanks and pray for mothers:

Lord, motherhood is both a great blessing and a great responsibility. Bless mothers as they manage the many tasks they perform each day, and make them a blessing to their children. Give them joy, strength, and love to carry out their work. Help them raise their children with love, care, and godly discipline, and give them fulfillment in their service to you and to their families. Amen.

Thank you Nate. Nate is an usher at Immanuel.

✝ Our senior chapel leader last Friday was Nate Cole. He preached on the section of Scripture from Revelation 21. Nate, thank you for using your gifts in this way!

Revelation 21: 1-4 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[b] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
