✝️ **THE NATURE OF FAITH: Cain, Abel & the Only Approved Sacrifice**

What are you trusting in for salvation?

In this week’s service at Basin Bible Fellowship, we continued our summer series on **“The Nature of Faith”** by examining the story of Cain and Abel in Hebrews 11 and Genesis 4.

Cain and Abel came from the same family, received the same teaching, worshiped the same God, and both brought an offering. Yet God accepted Abel’s offering and rejected Cain’s. Why?

The difference was more than what they brought—it was the faith behind their offerings. Cain brought the fruit of his own labor, while Abel approached God by faith through the sacrifice God had revealed and approved.

The message is just as important today:

**We cannot earn salvation through good works, church attendance, baptism, personal accomplishments, or our own righteousness. Salvation is God’s gift, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.**

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.” — Ephesians 2:8–9

Jesus Christ is the perfect, sinless **Lamb of God**—the only approved sacrifice for sin and the only sure foundation for eternal life.

This service also includes uplifting worship, praises from the congregation, church announcements, and an inspiring update showing how Basin Bible Fellowship’s generosity helped free two families from generations of debt slavery in Pakistan’s brick kilns. What began as faithful giving has changed the lives of parents, children, and future generations. 🙏

▶️ Watch the full service and be encouraged to place your faith—not in the work of your own hands—but in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

**It is not how much faith you have; it is whom you place your faith in.**

🇺🇸 God Bless America 🇺🇸

This Fourth of July weekend, we gathered at Basin Bible Fellowship to thank God for the blessings He has given our nation—and to remember where true life, true liberty, and true happiness are found.

Pastor Darrin shared a timely message from Scripture and the Declaration of Independence, reminding us that only God gives true life, only Christ gives true freedom, and only the Lord gives lasting joy.

As believers, what can we do for America?

🙏 Pray for our nation
✝️ Take a stand for Christ
🗳️ Cast our votes with conviction

The hope of America is not ultimately found in the White House, but in hearts changed by Jesus Christ.

When God tests our faith, He is not trying to break us — He is drawing us closer to Himself.

In this message, “The Test of Faith,” Pastor Darrin continues our summer series on the nature of faith by looking at Abraham and Isaac in Genesis 22 and Hebrews 11:17. Through Abraham’s story, we are reminded that tests reveal where we stand, challenge us to grow, and call us to surrender our whole heart to God.

When life does not make sense, when obedience feels hard, and when our circumstances seem to contradict God’s promises, the answer remains the same:

Look to the Lamb.

Whether you are in the middle of a trial, see one coming, or are thanking God for bringing you through one, this sermon is a powerful reminder to trust the Lord with all your heart.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

Happy Father’s Day from Basin Bible Fellowship! 🥳

Join us as we look back on a special Father’s Day service honoring earthly fathers and praising our Good, Good Father in heaven.

This service includes heartfelt worship, a meaningful message on the biblical call of fathers, a moving reading of “So God Made a Father,” and touching reflections from the congregation about the lessons, love, and legacy passed down through faithful dads and father figures.

We pray this message encourages fathers, families, and everyone seeking to follow the Lord more faithfully.

“Provide. Love. Encourage. Teach. Lead.”

Have you ever felt like some people just have a natural "talent" for faith, and you somehow missed out? 🤔

In this week’s message at Basin Bible Fellowship, we dive into Hebrews 11 for Part 2 of our series on the nature of faith. Pastor shares an incredibly encouraging truth: Faith is for everybody.
It’s not about how much faith you can muster up; it’s about who you put your faith in. If you're falling off a cliff, it doesn't matter how strongly you believe in the branch you grab—it only matters if the branch is strong enough to hold you. As believers, we don't put our faith in our own strength, our finances, or the world; we put our faith in Jesus Christ.

Watch the full sermon video below to explore the three essential layers of true faith:

Understanding: Taking the time to study, think, and discover what God's Word says.

Conviction: Being persuaded by the evidence of God's past faithfulness in your life and in Scripture.

Commitment: Taking the leap and trusting God, knowing that certainty only comes after you commit.

If you are facing a tough decision, walking through a dark time, or just need your faith strengthened today, this message is for you. God's got you in the palm of His hand!
