✝️ **THE NATURE OF FAITH: Cain, Abel & the Only Approved Sacrifice**
What are you trusting in for salvation?
In this week’s service at Basin Bible Fellowship, we continued our summer series on **“The Nature of Faith”** by examining the story of Cain and Abel in Hebrews 11 and Genesis 4.
Cain and Abel came from the same family, received the same teaching, worshiped the same God, and both brought an offering. Yet God accepted Abel’s offering and rejected Cain’s. Why?
The difference was more than what they brought—it was the faith behind their offerings. Cain brought the fruit of his own labor, while Abel approached God by faith through the sacrifice God had revealed and approved.
The message is just as important today:
**We cannot earn salvation through good works, church attendance, baptism, personal accomplishments, or our own righteousness. Salvation is God’s gift, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.**
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.” — Ephesians 2:8–9
Jesus Christ is the perfect, sinless **Lamb of God**—the only approved sacrifice for sin and the only sure foundation for eternal life.
This service also includes uplifting worship, praises from the congregation, church announcements, and an inspiring update showing how Basin Bible Fellowship’s generosity helped free two families from generations of debt slavery in Pakistan’s brick kilns. What began as faithful giving has changed the lives of parents, children, and future generations. 🙏
▶️ Watch the full service and be encouraged to place your faith—not in the work of your own hands—but in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
**It is not how much faith you have; it is whom you place your faith in.**
