October is Pastor Appreciation Month - lets be his biggest supporter and prayer partner!
31 DAYS OF PRAYER FOR YOUR PASTOR:
1. Vision - May he lead the church with vision, knowledge, and understanding through the Word.
2. Peace and Joy - Grant him with peace, joy, love, abounding in hope.
3. Wise Counsel - Guide him through Your Word. Give him godly men to stand by him in support.
4. Wife - May she respect and love him. May she be the helpmate he needs as they serve You.
5. Walk With God - May he have a closer walk and love You, Lord, with all his heart.
6. Passion for Scripture - May he delight in Your Word and meditate on it day and night.
7. Prayer Life - May he be a man of prayer devoting himself to prayer and communion.
8. Character & Integrity - May he be a godly man, having integrity of heart and being a faithful doer of the Word.
9. Humility - May he be kept from pride and self interest, remain teachable and humble to Your instruction.
10. Obedience - May he obey Your commands and faithfully follow Your leading in his life.
11. Health - Give him good health and help him care for his physical body, for it is Your temple of the Spirit.
12. Thought Life - May he hold every thought captive for Christ and be transformed by the renewing of his mind.
13. Temptation - May his heart be kept guarded and pure. Keep him from falling into temptation of body or mind.
14. Rest & Refreshment - Help him find the rest he needs, and may he find refreshment in Your presence.
15. Protection - Protect him and his family. Bless the work of his hands, delivering him from the schemes of the enemy.
16. Marriage - Protect his marriage. May they both put each other’s needs above their own
17. Children - Help him to teach about Your ways in his household and train up his children to love You.
18. Finances - Provide for his needs and keep him from a love of money.
19. Priorities/Time - May he seek Your kingdom above all else. Guide him in setting priorities & managing time.
20. Love for Others - May he love others and remember Your love for others.
21. Shepherd’s Heart - May he have a heart for those You have placed in his care.
22. Heart for the Lost - May he proclaim the Gospel with compassion and truth. Help him to have Your heart for the lost.
23. Conflicts - Help him to handle conflict biblically & with love. Give him discernment in difficult times.
24. Leadership - May he & the leaders be godly, unified in purpose, good examples to others.
25. Godward Focus - Help him to keep his eyes fixed on You.
26. Blessing - May he be blessed by You & the congregation.
27. Teaching - May Jesus be exalted in every message.
28. Sermon Prep - Grant him the time & focus to prepare the message & give him ideas.
29. Discernment - May he listen to Your voice as You direct his path.
30. Encourage - May his hope be found in You.
31. Biblical Faithfulness - May he understand and hold firm to the truth.
