Leann is on the Rotating Schedule and preaches once a month at the Gerry Methodist Church. We are so thankful to have gifted men and women of God willing to share the Word of God in Gerry each week. The women also decided to send a donation to Randy LeBaron and the Go Scatter Ministry. Monthly donations were also sent to 3 other ministries. All are welcome to attend the Bible Study held from 10:00 AM to noon each week. Pastor Melody Overend preached at the Gerry Methodist Church today. Her message, REJOICE, AGAIN I SAY REJOICE!, was based on Philippians 4:4-7. We worship God regardless of where we are in life, inspite of struggles, circumstances, pain, hardships, and hurt. We can have joy in a broken world because of who God is. We praise God in trouble because, although we don't always know what is next in life, we know God knows and He is with us. He has promised to never leave us. Having peace and rejoicing through our troubles, is evidence of God in our lives. Thank you, Pastor Melody for a moving message.

The Tuesday Morning Ladies Bible Study Group met at the Gerry Methodist Church yesterday and discussed the 4 Pillars of Salvation Assurance. Yes, we can know with certainty that we are going to heaven!
1- God can not lie! What He says in His Word is true! "Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved" Do not doubt.
2- Jesus paid it all! "It is finished" "Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be white as snow"
3- The Great Convincer! We have the inward witness of the Holy Spirit that we are a child of God!
4- New Life In Christ! We do not become perfect but we experience a changed life!

The Tuesday Morning Ladies Bible Study Group held their Annual Fall Rummage Sale at the Gerry Methodist Church yesterday and today. It was a great success! Thank you to all who donated items to sell and/or came to shop. We had a lot of fun! A huge thank you to all who volunteered: Bette Lou O'Neill Wisler, Clair Wissler, Teresa Lopez, Ann Dunn, and Carol Kohler. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

This week the Tuesday Morning Ladies Bible Study Group, at the Gerry Methodist Church, studied verses regarding God's provision for those who trust Him. Phillipians 4:6-7 encourages us to have no anxiety! In everything let us give thanks as we make our requests known to God ...... and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus! Praise God!

The Annual Fall Rummage Sale will be held this Friday and Saturday, August 7-8 at the Gerry Methodist Church. Donations are appreciated and may be dropped off at the church from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM today.

The Ladies Bible Study Group is looking forward to...
