Today, Leann Harrington spoke at the Gerry Methodist Church. Her message, A LIFE WORTH LIVING, was based on Philippians 1:21-30. The apostle Paul tells the Philippians to live a worthy life but what is a life worth living? What matters? Three elements:
1. STANDARD, the Gospel
Stand firm for the Faith
2. STRENGTH, of Christ
Unite together for the Gospel
3. SUFFERING, with Christ
Prerequisite for His Glory
Thank you, Leann, for your message today.

The Tuesday Morning Ladies Bible Study look forward to the Victorian Tea Party Fundraiser on Saturday, October 17. The Monthly Lunch Club will meet on the last Thursday of October @ noon, at the Crooked Stick. All are welcome to join this group! Come with a friend.

The women also decided to bless the following with donations: LOVE, INC of Jamestown, OPTIONS CARE CENTER, and Joe Ralph 's Parkinson's Fundraiser.

The women look forward to the Victorian Tea Party Fundraiser on Saturday, October 17 as well as this week's Monthly Lunch Club meeting on Thursday, September 24, 2026 @11:00 AM, at the Crooked Stick. All are welcome to join this group! Come with a friend.

Today, Sam Shreffler preached at The Gerry Methodist Church. His message was entitled SO MANY QUESTIONS and stressed the importance of prayer. Prayer works! God requests that His people pray. Pray anytime, anywhere, and know that God is listening and will answer. Thank you, Pastor Sam.

Today the Tuesday Morning Ladies Bible Study Group, at the Gerry Methodist Church, enjoyed a visit from Missionaries to Cambodia, Jenny and Timothy Kangas. They enjoyed pizza and wings and a variety of home made cookies by Teresa Lopez. Thank you, Teresa. And, thank you to Ellen Barmore, for making such delicious coffee and cleaning up afterward! So appreciated.

Tim Kangas presented a very interesting program on Cambodia and Jenny Kangas gave a quiz that educated the group about Cambodia. 96% of Cambodians are Buddhists. They worship no god. When the Kangas's first arrived in Cambodia, in the early 1990's, there were 0% Christians. Today, Cambodia is 3% Christian, and is "one of the fastest growing Christian populations in the world!" Praise God! Thank you, Tim and Jenny, for taking the time to share with us. We will continue to pray for God's blessing upon you and your ministry.

Today was YOUTH SUNDAY at the Gerry Methodist Church. The youth led the service from beginning to end and did a phenomenal job. Lucas Overend was in charge of the ADULT MOMENT and Levi Overend PREACHED THE WORD. There was a very moving READER'S THEATER, an excellent WORSHIP BAND, and even an INTERPRETIVE DANCE by 2 girls dressed identically! Afterwards, the congregation enjoyed coffee hour with snacks made by the youth.
Thank you to all the youth for a wonderful and meaningful service. And thank you to all the adults involved with making it all possible.

The Tuesday Morning Ladies Bible Study Group looks forward to a visit from Missionaries Jenny and Timothy Kangas this week on September 15. They plan on having pizza and wings. All welcome.
