As we celebrate and reflect on Pride Month and Welcome Summer, UCCSV's Fellowship Committee is sponsoring this opportunity to gather together over a shared meal to sustain and strengthen our bonds as a beloved community for the upcoming election season.

Additionally, we will have a Pride Photo "booth" opportunity with accessories and a Pride temporary tattoos station--which was a huge hit at Poolesville Pride! (Even David Trone got tatted up!)

The Fellowship Committee will provide the fried chicken, while you friends provide the sides and desserts. Please use the sign-up below to indicate what you will be sharing for the potluck (in the comments).

🧩 June 18 is Autistic Pride Day: a day that celebrates neurodiversity, dignity, and the beauty of difference.

Autistic Pride Day reminds us that every mind brings its own brilliance, perspective, and way of experiencing the world. It is not about “fixing” differences, but honoring them.

Dr. Maya Angelou’s words continue to remind us that humanity is strongest when we make room for one another.

Acceptance begins with listening. Respect begins with understanding. Pride begins when people are allowed to exist fully and authentically.

Today, we celebrate individuality, inclusion, and the power of being seen.

⚠️ Montgomery County has issued a localized PFAS health advisory for a stream and pond near Great Seneca Highway and Key West Avenue in North Potomac.
