The host was Devyn Amigh, camera lady was Miranda in the yellow balloon, and Connie Letscher is the coordinator of our Fall Festival who is one of the original residents in of our cottages in Marian Heights. Today we celebrate our 97th Foundation Day!

Thank you Lord for the gift of 97 years of holding the hand of an aged person and giving meaning to their lives. It’s truly about being a mother, a sister, a daughter and a friend to someone who is another’s mother, sister, friend and loved one.

We thank God for the courage of Mother Angeline and her companions. We thank Him for the grace He has given us in the flourishing of our mission for caring for the aged and infirm these last 97 years.

May He continue to pour His grace and love upon our beloved Community, as well as on every elder in our care and all those who help make our mission possible! 🌹

Jesus is still changing lives today!

This reality is what gave Peter the grace and awareness to declare that Jesus is the Son of God in this morning’s Gospel. It’s what enables people to give Him their entire lives.

The question is: are we going to allow Jesus to be that for us? To be the center of our lives and hearts? To be the One who changes us so profoundly that we, like St. Peter, declare that Jesus is exactly who He says He is?

Let Jesus change your life. Let Him fill you with His grace and use you to spread His love and light to all you meet!
