In our June newsletter, Pastor Jeff asks "what are you longing for this summer?" The rest and joys of summer activities may be the first things that come to mind, but as you think more deeply about this question, what are you longing for in your relationship with Jesus?

Pastor Jeff's message encourages us reflect on how getting to know the heart of Jesus will lead us to flourish as individual disciples and as a congregation. Our summer sermon series and the new Cultivating Flourishing Congregation initiative will guide us in both so that we can serve the Lord with impactful ministry.

Our June newsletter also shares many ways that we are currently flourishing with a message from the Deacons, a Global Missions Highlight, Next Gen Ministry news, and more! Check it out at https://bit.ly/NPCjune2026.

Blessed Assurance, Jesus is Mine...Have your ever reflected and meditated on that verse in the Hymn Blessed Assurance. Assurance isn't wishful thinking but a certain reality. We can be 100% certain that Jesus is mine if you have trusted Christ as your Lord and Savior. We belong to Him because at the cross we see Jesus is enough-we receive his forgiveness, his righteousness, his redemption, his cleansing, his promise of eternal life. No matter what we experience in this life: a serious illness, a difficult marriage or relationship, job uncertainty, a life transition, or just the daily heat (a awkward conversation, bad traffic, late for work, job interview, delay flight, stubbed toe, missed opportunity, etc.), Jesus is mine and even more amazing that I am His as a result of his perfect life, his death on the cross and his resurrection and ascension!

As verse 1 encourages:
Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
O what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.

Pastor Jeff closes with the hope that following Christ offers to us. When we fall short, we confess, turn, and get back on road to discipleship, knowing that Jesus is still with us.

Pastor Jeff encourages us to trust God not only in the "yes" in our lives, but also in the "not yet" because God is faithful. With this lesson from Genesis 25 he ends our sermon series entitled The Faith Story of Abraham.

Pastor Jeff discusses how Genesis 24:10-28 connects with us today in how we pray and expect guidance. What if our "coincidences" are really God's providence in our lives? Do we look for the dramatic signs or the simple obedience?

In Genesis 23 after the loss of Sarah, Abraham makes a costly purchase for her burial in the Promised Land as an act of faith. He invests in the future for long after his life. We too are assured of a lasting inheritance beyond this life through trusting in Jesus who invested his life for us.

05/06/2026

Listen as Pastor Jeff offers the hope in the story of Abraham's sacrifice from Genesis 22 to Jesus' ultimate sacrifice for us. We trust in a God that is ever faithful to us and "sees to it," providing for us no matter what.
