Happy Blessed Birthday to ME!
Chapter number 41 has started and I am truly Blessed, honored, privileged and grateful for another year of life🙌
I literally just got finished doing a praise dance in my Mother's room as I thanked God for the most important things He's given Me: Himself, His Son, His Word, and of course Mom. Without her I wouldn't be who I am or where I am in life. The spiritual foundation she laid is one I continue to build on daily.
As I reflect on how far I've come, I realize that every lesson I've learned is a Blessing. Sometimes we think a Blessing has to be something tangible or something we prayed for like a job, car, home, even a mate. However, the lessons that God wants to teach us, even using our mistakes to correct, prosper, and perfect us are the truest Blessings He could ever give us.
I also want to encourage everyone not to fear getting older because it is a GIFT. You may not be where you want to be in life. You may even think you're too old to experience certain pleasures and experiences. However the only one holding you back is YOU. So ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom and take those steps of Faith to experience the Joys you haven't yet. Don't shortchange yourself. 💛
My life scripture is: "And we KNOW that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD to those who LOVE GOD, to those who are called according to His Purpose."
