The congregation got together last night for dinner and cake to celebrate our new Pastor! We are thankful for your leadership, Pastor Rachel.

We would like to welcome Pastor Rachel to GVUMC. She joins us as our new pastor while also serving at Davis Calvary UMC. We are thankful to have her serve our church and look forward to her ministry and vision. Help us to welcome her!

Unfortunately, we will not be having a Christmas Eve service this year due to being without a pastor at the moment. We hope you can still enjoy another local service. Harmony UMC in Freeport (5:30 pm) and Forreston UMC (7:00 pm) both have offered their services as options. German Valley also has two other churches with services, Grace Valley CRC (6:00 pm) and Silver Creek Reformed Church (6:00). We hope you all have a blessed Christmas!

Stop by the fire station for one trunk or treat and then head down to us for another! Great addition to Halloween trick or treating!

Join us for Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 31st from 5:00-7:00 PM. We'll be in the parking lot at the German Valley Fire Station and look forward to seeing you. Come out for this fun event!
