Today at Mercy House, we had the privilege of welcoming Nathaniel Wheeler with ASB Financial Services - Flowood, MS to speak with our staff about financial planning, wise stewardship, and preparing for the future.

🔥 Freedom Friday 🔥

Hi my name is Randolph Joseph and I’m 26 years old. I’m from Miami, FL and a small testimony of mine is I was a poly substance abuser from the age of 18 due to me being rebellious despite my upbringing. Then when I was 23, my mom died in her sleep on September 18, 2023. At that point, instead of finding a healthy outlet for me to grieve through, I dove even farther off the deep end and started smoking fentanyl and m**h. While in my drug addiction fueled chaos, I took some drugs laced with fentanyl and almost died three times. I found myself in Mississippi locked up later for felony shoplifting.

One thing I can say for sure is that God didn’t quit on me, so why was I quitting on myself? Five months from December 12, 2025, I am clean, sober, free, and pursuing a relationship with Jesus and being taught by God on how to deal with my grief of lost loved ones.

Recovery is possible. Freedom is real. One day at a time through Christ. 🙏
