Are we working for God?

It’s easy to talk about reaching people. It’s easy to say we want to make a difference. But at some point, we have to get out there and do the work.

There’s still a world that needs the Gospel. There are still people who need Christ. May we be A Working Church—willing to go, serve, reach, and labor for the Lord!

We were having some technical difficulties Sunday with the livestream and recording but the recording was salvageable. The beginning of the video is choppy, but it catches up just a few minutes in. We hope and pray it is a blessing to you!

What great time we had last night at the last "Friday at the Fairgrounds" of the summer. Look for a couple of those events over the winter months, as well!

Going to church doesn’t make someone a Christian. Knowing the right words doesn’t make someone a Christian. When Christ truly changes the heart, eventually there ought to be some fruit that shows it.

Our kids had a wonderful time at the Kid's Takeover service last night! Each month on the last Thursday we have a Kid's Takeover service and this week we kicked off our "Superheroes of the Faith" series. God is doing an awesome work in Georgetown, Ohio!

Sin is serious—but thank God, sin does not have to be the end of the story.

The Bible says:

“And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” — 1 John 2:1

When we fail, Jesus Christ is our Advocate. And He is the propitiation for our sins—He completely satisfied the payment our sin demanded.

Our hope isn't in being good enough.
Our hope is in Jesus Christ.
