GBC Music Makers Music Makers choir, Georgetown Baptist Church located in beautiful Georgetown, Kentucky. Musicians ranging from age 3 to 2nd grade.

Today is our last Sunday evening practice before Music Sunday! We hope everyone is able to make it at 6:00 to run through our two songs.

Here is the information for Music Sunday:

Saturday 5/7: Dress Rehearsal 10:00-11:00am in the sanctuary

Sunday 5/7: Arrive at church by 9:00am. We will participate in both services!

6:00pm- Children’s Choir party. If the weather is nice we will walk to Garth Elementary to play on the playground and eat a snack together.

It’s been such a fun year of making music together!🎶❤️

Happy Saturday! Just a few reminders for both Music Makers and Jam Choir. Tomorrow morning, if you are able, we would love to have the children wave palm branches and sing “Hosanna in the Highest” for both services! Please arrive by 9:15 for the first service.

With spring break falling on Holy Week, we will not have evening activities tomorrow or Easter Sunday. We hope everyone has a safe, fun, and restful break!

Tomorrow is the day! Our children have been working SO hard, and our Christmas program is so sweet! We are looking forward to presenting this to our congregation, friends and family, and community. Here are a few reminders:

-The children are singing in both services Sunday morning. Plan on having your child in the Children's Suite by 9:15 am. No need for costumes!

-Sunday evening, have your singer here and dressed in their costume (or get dressed upon arrival for costumes housed here) at 5 pm. Program begins at 6 pm!

We will have practice for our Christmas program this evening at 5:45 in the sanctuary. Dress rehearsal will be this Friday 12/2, 6-7:30. Hopefully we won’t need the full hour and a half that evening though!

We will have practice at 6:00 this evening! We are working on our song that we will sing for both services next Sunday, as well as starting on our Christmas program! We look forward to seeing everyone.

Good afternoon! Both children’s choirs will be singing “The Servant Song” for the 11:00 service this Sunday.

Music Makers and JAM choirs start back this evening at 6:00! This week both choirs will meet together in the fellowship hall. We are excited to start making music together again!

Thank you all so much for a wonderful rehearsal this morning! Tomorrow’s worship is going to be a blessing to everyone who sees it.

We are participating in both services for Music Sunday. Please arrive at church by 8:45 for the first service. We will have a few pews reserved for the children on the right side of the sanctuary while looking at the stage.

Hi families! I realize that this Sunday is Mother’s Day, but we will have children’s choir from 6-7. This will be our last Sunday evening practice before Music Sunday, as well as for the spring. We will take a break during the summer and resume in September!

After we are done practicing our songs, we will have a small party with light refreshments. If the weather is nice we will walk down to the playground at Garth Elementary. We have been so thankful to have had our choirs meeting again and singing for worship this year, thank you for all you do to allow your children to participate! 🎶❤️
