This week we’re celebrating Debbie Lloyd! 💛

Debbie faithfully serves in DC Kids as a Preschool Teacher, and her love for some of our littlest ones shines through in everything she does. From teaching engaging Bible stories to dancing along to worship songs and creating hands-on activities each week, Debbie helps make learning about Jesus fun, meaningful, and memorable.

The care, patience, and joy she brings to the classroom create a place where children feel loved and excited to grow in their faith.

Debbie, thank you for investing in the next generation and for serving so faithfully each week. We are so grateful for you! 💙🙌

Get ready for DC Kids Summer Blast: "What's Cookin'?"—a fun-filled TWO-DAY adventure happening June 16th & 17th from 6:00–8:00 PM!

Through the stories of Deborah and Jacob, kids will discover that growing in faith is a lot like cooking—it takes time, creativity, care, and the right ingredients! They'll learn:

This week we’re celebrating Cody Jones! 💛

Cody has been part of DC since before we ever launched, playing a pivotal role in the early years through planning, prepping, and helping lay the foundation for what God was building.

Today, he faithfully serves on our Worship Team as a drummer, using his gifts to help lead people into God’s presence every week.

Cody, thank you for your faithfulness, your heart to serve, and the countless ways you’ve helped build DC from the very beginning. We’re so grateful for you! 💙🙌

Sunday at Discover Church we kicked off our new series, “Gifts of the Spirit.” Pastor Curtis reminded us that Jesus said GO → But Wait. ✋

We wait on the Holy Spirit to empower every follower of Jesus. Why? Because there is great danger in attempting the works of the Kingdom without the power of the Spirit.

God never intended for us to live out our faith in our own strength.

This week we’re celebrating Linda Doherty! 💛

Linda faithfully serves on our Excellence Team and plays such a vital role every single week helping reset the building after our Sunday gatherings. From cleaning up the Go Team room, restocking café supplies, and tidying the entire building, Linda helps make sure everything is ready and welcoming for the next ministry moment.

She’s also a huge part of our Serve Team, always willing to jump in and help whenever there’s an outreach or need in our community.

Linda, thank you for your servant heart, your consistency, and all the behind-the-scenes ways you help make ministry happen. We are so grateful for you! 💙🙌
