Ladies Retreats are coming up. If you are planning to come, please help us with planning by getting registered. If you are on the fence, go ahead and make plans to come. You won't regret the investment!

We anticipate that the October Retreat may fill up, and we'd love to boost our attendance in the first couple of retreats. We'd especially like to encourage you to try out our first ever TWO-NIGHT ladies' retreat. We are excited about the extra time these ladies will have for fellowship, rest, fun, and soaking up God's Word!

Guys, our first men's retreat of the fall is coming up soon! If you are planning to be here September 11-12, please help us with planning by signing up ASAP. Signing up for Retreat 2 is great too! Our next homeschool CORE camp is scheduled for Friday, October 2. This time we'll be running two programs simultaneously, one for elementary and one for middle/high school students. We'll have some nature/science instruction, enjoy lunch together, and try a new activity or two! Don't miss it.

Parents of K-3rd graders should plan to stay, and other parents are more than welcome as well (parents are half price), and any pre-school aged children are welcome to tag along (no fee), although there won’t be a program specifically for them.

Primary Day Camp last week was a blast! We had a great day of singing and learning God's Word together, swimming, sand art, egg drops, and several other activities for these 1st-3rd graders. We hope it gave many a wonderful "first taste" of attending camp!

We are thankful for the 30 energetic and excited juniors God brought us this week and for beautiful weather and a wonderful summer staff! Our speaker this week is Jon Bennett, and he came prepared for high energy fun and creative ways to communicate the truth of God’s Word to the juniors. He has also embraced our theme (Created on Purpose for a Purpose) in a great way with a crazy mad scientist, Dr. Stinkinstein, who shows up at morning chapels and creates lots of teachable moments. So far this week we have had one salvation decision and two assurance of salvation decisions in addition to several great conversations, following up on what God is doing in the hearts of many of the children. We are still praying for God to work in the hearts of several more. Thanks for praying with us for an amazing week!
