Hello, church family,
Thank you for joining us today, Sept 6, 2026.
Opening Scripture: PS 95:6 and 7
Scripture for Review: Phil 4:6
Responsive Reading #3, God the Creator
SERMON: We’re Doin it Wrong!
It doesn’t take much for us to realize the decay of the world. Chris brought us a great message that hits home. Recap:
Ever since the 60s, God has been taken out of public schools, and institutions, and the Government. I remember as a child saying the Lord’s Prayer and PS 23 every day until 7th grade. Our nation was founded on Christian Principals. Here are just a few examples of Godly men in leadership who believed that.
1. Read the declaration of Independence, George Washington, John Adams and Daniel Webster all have Godly writings.
2. Statistics from Chris: Divorce, mental illness, addictions have skyrocketed. Financial and spiritual bankruptcy have plummeted. Homelessness is prevalent, and the lack of workers, statistics are shocking. Crime, as we know, has gotten worse, but statistics show that prosecutions of violent crimes have declined. Church attendance is down as well.
3. There is a lack of contentment, one reason there is so many people in debt.
THE ANSWER AND SOLUTION IS WE ALL NEED GOD IN OUR LIVES! Those people, no matter who they are all need to know the Lord! The Bible offers the better way.

There is a pending hurricane “Dolly” that was named before Dolly Parton passed. Coincidence? I don’t think so. Dolly was a godly Christian woman.
