St. John's Methodist Church Harvest Fest

St. John's Methodist Church Harvest Fest The St. John's Methodist Church Harvest Fest has been cancelled for the foreseeable future. Sorry. The first St. John's UMC Harvest Fest was in 1948.

The event has been held every year since. Over the years, proceeds have gone to various community charities as well as to benefit the overall church growth. In 2011, proceeds totaling over $21,000 went to benefit The Caring Place, The R.O.C.K. (Ride on Center for Kids) scholarship program, and the Georgetown Community Project's after-school program for homeless teens. In 2012, proceeds will be goi

ng to The Boys and Girls Club of Georgetown and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). Along with serving some 2000 delicious traditional turkey dinners, we have live entertainment, arts and crafts, a Swedish bake sale, a silent auction, and a spirited “live” auction.
