In the past week our Girls on a Mission (3rd-5th grades) served at Elizabeth’s Village as well as we provided summer treats and games for residents from funds given from Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Kentucky. We are grateful for the many ways we get to work with our ministry partners!
Okay but seriously… our community is just the best💜
Huge thank you to Georgetown Baptist Church and the many people under that umbrella who continue showing up for Elizabeth’s Village in such meaningful ways.
Recently, the youth girls group came to the Transitional Home and helped organize a MAJOR donation project and honestly… what a blessing. The amount of care, effort and servant-hearted energy they poured into the space did not go unnoticed.
Then this weekend, the Whitehouse family and Abby dropped off outdoor goodies and holiday weekend gear for our residents and kiddos to enjoy. These little touches may seem simple to some, but they create normalcy, joy and comfort during really hard seasons of life.
I say it all the time, but it takes a real village. Not just financially, but people willing to physically show up, serve, organize, encourage and love others well. We are incredibly thankful for Georgetown Baptist Church and everyone who continues to wrap their arms around our mission and the families we serve.
