This past Sunday, one of our Co-Pastors, Andrew Glenn, continued preaching his sermon series “Ready for Church?” This week he talked about the importance of being connected within the church body. He made the point “What you take care of is what you are connected to…” As followers of Christ, we’re called to connect with one another. The enemy isn’t going to let you win, and if he can keep you from connecting it becomes dangerous. What’s hindering you from connecting with others?

“For by the grace given to me I say to every one of you not to think more highly of yourself than you ought to think, but to think with sober discernment, as God has distributed to each of you a measure of faith. For just as in one body we have many members, and not all the members serve the same function, so we who are many are one body in Christ, and individually we are members who belong to one another.” Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭

One of our Co-Pastors, Andrew Glenn, has been doing a sermon series called “Ready for Church?” He has been explaining the importance of the church and that the Lord calls us to love the church. Pastor Andrew Glenn said this past Sunday, “What you care about is what you take care of…” If we truly love and care about God, we should be taking care of what he loves and that’s the church. He made this statement “Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian… being a Christian makes you go to church.” Being a follower of Christ should make us want to go to church and to love and take care of his church body.
