What a powerful Sunday at The Mount! 🔥
Before the message on Faith Over Fear, our church shared a moment of vulnerability. Pastor Rayce asked, “How many of you have been struggling or felt under attack by the enemy this week?” Almost every hand in the room went up.
In difficult seasons, it’s easy to believe the lie that we’re going through it alone, that no one else is struggling, hurting, or fighting battles of their own.
But that’s one of the beautiful things about the church: we don’t have to walk through life alone.
We took time during the service to gather around one another, to pray for one another, and to remind each other that we are a family. We don’t just celebrate the good times together—we stand together through the difficult ones too.
There is something powerful about God’s people kneeling together and calling on the name of Jesus.
Then, following the message, we had even more reason to celebrate as John and Micalya Ulrich came forward to join our church family! We’re so thankful for what God is doing in their lives and in our church.
Faith over fear. Prayer over panic. And we walk through it all together. ❤️
For the Glory of God and the Good of Georgetown.
