From the Pastor's Desk:
It is after careful consideration and much prayer that I announce my retirement from pastoring. Ecclesiastes clearly states "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.." This is my time to relinquish my role as Pastor.

For 55 years, I have been called Pastor. The last 28 of those years have been at New Hope Baptist Church. It is not by accident that the Lord placed me there. New Hope has been family and nothing will ever change that. As they have heard me say many times, I love you New Hope and there is nothing you can do about it.

With that being said, I would love to invite you all to join us as we celebrate my tenure at New Hope.
