Hi Ladies!

As disappointed as I was to have to miss our scheduled meeting Wednesday, I have faith that it went well and I hope y’all enjoyed the start of this series. I was with you praying in spirit and watched the first episode that night. One thing that stood out was “Control.”

Control is an illusion especially as women of God. It was comforting to know that I am not alone in this struggle. There are times where I say, “Lord, I am giving this to you!” While still trying to fix the problem at hand by being so solution focused that I miss the teachable moments in the process. At some point in our journey with Jesus, he reminds us that we do not control the outcomes of any situation because God is sovereign over all and nothing catches him by surprise. My life verse is Romans 8:28 that says, “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” It highlights the fact that ALL things good AND bad work together for the Glory of God. It allows us the freedom through our trials to grow our faith by relying on that truth alone.

I look forward to our next scheduled meeting on June 10, 2026 at 6:30pm.
