Vicar John's Message: We find ourselves back in the beginning of Acts. We hear about the day of Pentecost and the coming of the Holy Spirit. The day of Pentecost was 50 days after Passover, just a short while since Jesus was crucified and resurrected. The disciples are struggling with how to continue to spread the Gospel without Jesus’ earthly presence. As the disciples are gathered together the Holy Spirit comes crashing through and empowers them to spread the Gospel throughout all nations. Let us reflect on what it means for God’s Spirit to come into our midst.
