We had a wonderful Jesus Feast and Maundy Thursday Service! The dining experience featured foods available during the time of Jesus in 1st Century Israel. The meal also included Holy Communion and Tenebrae where we read the Passion of Christ from scripture and extinguished candles as we remembered Jesus’ sacrifice for us all.

Our Easter Morning worship service begins at 11 AM. You are welcome to join us as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

An Easter Egg Hunt and Activities will take place beginning at 11:15 AM followed by lunch for all children and their families at 12 PM.

It is finally here! Holy Week has arrived with the Triumphant Entry of Jesus on Palm Sunday! You are invited to join us for worship this Sunday at 11 AM as we welcome the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. A Palm Sunday Luncheon will follow worship. Ham and Fried Chicken will be served. Please bring a covered dish!

The Geneva FUMC has an immediate job opening for an Administrative Assistant. This is a part-time, up to 20 hours per week, position. Applicant must be proficient in MICROSOFT word, Quick Books Pro, and the overall operation of computers, copier, fax and other office equipment. Duties include but not limited to prepare bank deposits, retrieve/sort/open mail, enter data in QB and church database, prepare invoices for payments, prepare financial and other reports, file documents/reports/correspondence and inventory/order supplies. Bookkeeping/accounting experience is recommended. A minimum of three personal references is required. Background check is required if hired.
