I can hardly believe that our Family Fun Nights (VBS) "How To Slay Your Dragons" is already 2-weeks in the rearview mirror! 😳
I want to give a well-deserved shout out to the 35 amazing volunteers who made it all possible!!! From creating the dragon slayer training arena, leading worship, very cool puppetry, amazing crafts & snacks, setting up obstacle courses each night, lots of promo work to get the word out, group leaders, audio/video tech, and the prep work for the mud bath and ensuing mud battle!

Shout out as well to Jeff Smith (Jeff Smith Ministries), who created "How the Slay Your Dragons" and lead the young dragon slayers each evening in learning how to overcome the dragons of Lying, Stealing, Dishonor/Disrespect, and the dragon of Unbelief!
Among many highlights - (i.e., $1,800 raised for Alliance Kids missions project) it was my privilege to participate in a Knighting ceremony and presenting each Dragon Slayer a Viking helmet, representing the Helmet of Salvation!
The blessing I spoke over each child. I want to speak over each of those who made our 2026 Family Fun Nights possible... "The Lord bless you and keep you… May He make His face shine upon you and give you peace."
