Good Morning! All of us go through stuff that knock us off our feet, as I have shared so many times. The key as a follower of Jesus Christ is to never stay down. Get back up, and continue the race. Armor back up and keep fighting forward, as a Warrior of the Lord, even though at the time you don’t seem to have the strength to get up. I lean on Psalm 23:4 - Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil because you are with me. Your rod and your staff comfort me. ( Later the passage says ) You lead me to greener pastures and calm waters. That passage is one of the biggest Bible verses you need to remember when life is knocking you around. When you feel all alone, and it seems like no one cares, that is when you need to remember you are in the shadows of death. That is where the devil wants you to live your life! Defeated and not moving forward. In the Shadows! Notice the passage says you are walking THROUGH the valley of death with the Lord by your side. You are not sitting in a pity pit in the valley, you are walking THROUGH with the Lord by your side, and He is taking you to a place where you can get restored and strong again. Greener Pastures, and Still Waters! With the Lord by your side, life can’t throw something at you that will ever stop you cold, and keep you down. With the Lord by your side you will always have the strength to keep running the race with perseverance! He knows when you need a refuge place to get stronger, His Greener Pastures, and His Still Waters, and He will get you there! Trust Him in all things! With Jesus by your side, You Got This!!! Good Morning! I have written so many times about dealing with anxiety, but the devil will never quit using it as a weapon to totally derail Christians. Anxiety can cripple you, and keep you from reaching your God given potential, and God’s plan for your life. It doesn’t matter what age you are, anxiety can sneak in and take over your thoughts, and fill your mind with worry, and dread. God gives us very clear directions to deal with anxiety in Philippians 4 - Be anxious about nothing, but through prayer and supplication, make your requests known to God, and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts, and minds. Got that? Don’t be Anxious! Pray to the Lord and submit your problems to him, and God’s Peace that you will never truly understand, will guard your heart, and your mind! Meaning His Peace will keep your mind from worrying about everything you shouldn’t be worrying about in the first place! Anxiety is the biggest battle of your mind that you must win! You can’t go about dealing with anxiety like a wimp! You must Armor up and be God’s Warrior in fighting Anxiety!! With Jesus by your side, you got this!!! Like a Warrior!!! Love you all!!!

Good Morning! The world easily distracts us doesn’t it? If we watch the news very often, we get distracted quite easily. World events going on in the world like Iran, and the Ukraine, grabs our attention everyday. Our health can also be a devastating concern. We are healthy one day, and the next day everything changes. There are so many things in our life that can grab the spotlight of our everyday thoughts. With all the possible things that can consume our thinking, do you ever think, or worry about your soul? Are you feeding your soul everyday with prayer, and the Word of God? See taking care of, and feeding your soul should be priority one in our life. When you meet Jesus face to face someday, it’s your Soul that will be doing that. Not a fragile body, and all of its ailments, your Soul! I know personally that it’s easy to say all of this, but life can be so distracting! The past 15 months I have been struggling with my left knee. I have been limping everywhere I go feeling pain, so it has been hard not to be distracted! I just found out that I need a third operation. DISTRACTIONS!! I admit my Soul feeding has suffered during all of this. That is why concerns of worldly things throw us off from properly taking care of our Souls. I said this it seems like a million times, but pray, and read your Bible. That is the best way to feed your soul, and to keep your focus on Jesus, and Him alone! Not the distractions that come our way! You can do this!! With Jesus by your side, You Got This!!! Like a Warrior!!! Love You All!!!

Good Morning! I heard it said before, I ran all my life with a pack of wolves, living in the world, until the Lamb of God stepped in and saved me, and took over my heart. How are you today? Are you living with the wolves? Doing whatever pleases you? Saying whatever you please, not caring who you hurt? Maybe some addiction has a hold of you, and you can’t break free. When you live your life running in the Wolfpack, eventually you will hit rock bottom, one way or another. That is a guarantee! What are you going to do when you hit that bottom is the biggest question you will face in your life! Who you going to turn to? A worldly answer that will just get you to a much deeper bottom eventually? Or are you going to turn to the only answer for your life, the Lamb of God? I don’t mean starting going to Church once in awhile. I mean on your knees totally surrendering to the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ! Let Him enter your heart, and take control! No more living with the wolves only pleasing, and living for yourself. I mean being totally focused on Jesus. You are talking different, acting different, praying, and studying the Word. You are a new creation! The wolves won’t come near you, because they see you are guarded, and belong to the Lamb of God! No more being a Lukewarm Christian with one foot living with the wolves, and one foot in Church once a year! You can do this! You need to do this! With Jesus by your side, You Got This!!! Like a Warrior!!! Love You All!!!

Good Morning! HAPPY EASTER!!! HE IS RISEN!!! Have a great Easter Day, but remember today,” what this day is. It is the center of our Faith. Jesus died for our sins, and rose on the third day, today, Easter, but this morning I have a question for you? How deep is your desire for Jesus? It is easy for believers to think about Jesus today, but how deep is your desire? I’m not talking about going through the motions, buried in traditions, never praying, going to Church once in awhile, and if you need something you might pray. I mean having a burning desire when you wake up in the morning that you want to please the Lord with your actions, and your words during your day. Desire means you know, deep down, that you need to serve the Lord. If you don’t you feel so empty. When you reach that point you are transformed. You life is truly changed! You know Jesus lives in your heart! Your heart belongs to Him, and your heart has left the trappings of the world! That is my prayer for everyone this Easter Morning! Transform, and live your days with a Deep Desire for Jesus!! With Jesus by your side, You Got This!!! Like a Warrior!!! Love You All!!!

Good Morning! Do you feel far away from the Lord today? Starting your day in prayer, every single morning, is forgotten about. Going to Church every Sunday happened years ago. You can’t remember the last time you have opened your Bible, and you feel so lost, and alone today. You don’t feel Jesus by your side throughout your day, and you wonder why? The world can consume you so quickly if you let it. Problems become your boss without the Lord by your side. Some of you need to read that again! So if you feel far away from the Lord today, I guarantee, it wasn’t the Lord who moved, it was YOU!! Whatever the world throws at you, you can rise above it. Tell your problems about your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Tell your problems to flee! They have no control over you! With the Lord by your side, you dwell in greener pastures, and stiller waters! Armor yourself up with the Lord’s Peace which comes from being in His Word! Only you can make yourself turn back, and take the steps you need to take to get close again to the Lord. Start your day in prayer! Blow the dust off your Bible, and start reading it again! Then you will start feeling the Lord in your life again, and the funny thing is, He was there the whole time! You were so consumed with your problems that you tried to handle on your own, you forgot about Him, and didn’t feel His presence. So get back on track! Get back to your basics! Get back to Jesus! Good Morning! Do you ever get sidetracked by life? Things happen to you that you didn’t see coming? It can hit you without warning, and you totally stop doing the things that were once important. It can be health, finances, family issues, or a number of other things. I have to admit that I got sidetracked. I haven’t posted in awhile. My knee problems that I talked about before got worse. I had another operation, and PT has not been going well. I was thinking last night that I probably won’t post again today, because the pain is a distraction to me! I’m a whimp! Lol. Then I started thinking last night, what kind of excuse is that? That is what keeps people from doing God’s purpose for their life, DISTRACTIONS, and EXCUSES! Now I know all of us have to deal sometime with distractions, but we can’t let those distractions become permanent derailments! Read that again! I was letting my knee become an excuse. That is why the Bible tells us to rise above our problems! Not with self help books or listening to some so called expert on TV, but through prayer. It says in Philippians, Make your requests known to the Lord in prayer and supplication, and the Peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ. So is a distraction running your life now? Pray! Make your concerns known to the Lord, and feel His Peace! Let His Peace cover you like a warm blanket! His Peace is the cure you need! You will never truly understand it, but it is the only thing that gets you back on the right track no matter what DISTRACTION has you totally sidetracked right now! Let Jesus guard your heart and mind! With Jesus by your side, You Got This!!! Like a Warrior!!! Love You All!!!

Good Morning! Are you an optimist, or a pessimist? You are one or the other. God designed us to be optimists! He wants us to be confident, and joyful, because we love Him, and reflect His love in all we do. Unwavering, and persistent in living everyday like a moving forward Warrior for Jesus Christ. This is easy to say, but even for a battle hardened Christian, this can be hard to pull off everyday. There are certain days we wonder what the heck is going on! To quote a popular saying, we feel the bottom fell out! We got sucker punched by life, by something we didn’t see coming. Something out of right field! When something like that happens to a pessimist, they fall apart, but even us Christian Overcomers get weary in the fight when tough times come. That is when we need to lean even more onto Jesus! Trusting Him more! Praying more! In His Word more. All believers get knocked down. The devil only wins when you stay down. Read that again. So if today you are allowing pessimistic thoughts into your head (notice I said allowing those thoughts!) cast them out with God’s Word! The Word of God is your biggest weapon to use against your pessimism! Speak the Word of God against your problems! You can speak the optimistic Word of God and lift yourself out of the ditch you find yourself in today, and you’ll get back onto the narrow path the Lord has laid out in front of you that He wants you on. Start quoting your favorite Bible verses over, and over. Start praising the Lord. Just these two things are a amazing start to changing your attitude. I always lean on Isaiah 40:31 and Philippians 4:13 and Psalm 23, which says, The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. He makes me lay down in green pastures. He leads me to still waters. He restores my soul. That is how an optimistic, follower of Christ person lives their life! So become a optimistic follower of Jesus Christ! With Jesus by your side, You Got This!!! Like a Warrior!!! Good Morning! We go through some difficult times in our life. We often ask the Lord why, totally forgetting that this isn’t heaven that we are living in. It’s the world, and Jesus warned us that in the world we will experience problems. The older we get we seem to get more health problems. I injured my knee at school, and just when it was getting better, I got it injured again much worse than the first time. So I have to have surgery again. I could be whining asking God why did this happen again, but I use it as God is trying to teach me something instead. See when bad things happen, instead of complaining, we need to ask the Lord what can I learn from this? See difficulties in life, when we face them with the Lord by our side, the Lord makes us stronger. The stronger we get, the difficulties that use to throw us for a loop, now those problems don’t even break our stride. We become the Overcoming Warrior that God designed us to be. Now comes the part of the post where I ask, where are you at today? Lol. Are you whining, feeling beaten? Or are you moving forward with your life, trusting the Lord every step? Everyday we must choose to follow the Lord so we can overcome obstacles, hardships, illnesses, financial problems, even injured knees. That is how the Lord designed us to be. Overcoming Warriors. Our bodies might be struggling, but our souls are very strong when we rely on the Lord and trust Him in all circumstances! So trust in the Lord today no matter what you are going through! With Jesus by your side, You Got This!!! Like a Warrior!!! Love You All!!!

Good Morning! Everyday we have choices to make. What clothes to wear. What to eat. How we talk to people, but the most important choice we make everyday is, are we living our life that day to the best of our ability for the Lord. Everyday we are making that choice without even thinking about it. Where our thoughts go, reflect if we are following the Lord for the day. How we treat people reflects if we made the choice to be pleasing to the Lord with our actions. If we really think about our normal days, they are packed with choices. In baseball if you hit over .300 you are doing good, but if your good choices you make that are pleasing to the Lord, only hit .300, that is very sad! You are living your life more pleasing the world, and not Jesus. Think about this! Where is your average? Are you at a dismal .300, or are you making good choices for the Lord throughout your day, and you seem to be hitting it out of the park for the Lord all day? Sorry for the Baseball comparisons, but that might help you focus on how to improve your choices throughout your day. See following the Lord is a choice that we have to make every second of every day. Our goal should be batting over .900 everyday with our choices, and actions, making the minutes in our day count! So choose wisely today with your choices, and everyday. With Jesus by your side, You Got This!!! Like a Warrior!!! Love You All!!!
