Don’t Worry, Be Happy 2026 HONOREE – SHIRA STALLWORTH
Dr. Shira Stallworth is a visionary leader, entrepreneur, and philanthropist whose influence spans business, politics, media, and ministry. She is the Founder and CEO of Creative Women Enterprises and Creative Women Enterprises Television Network, two powerhouse platforms dedicated to empowering women, building economic strength, and inspiring social change through education and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Stallworth holds an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity and Leadership from Theophilus Theological University in Kenya and a Doctoral Degree in Public Administration from Walden University. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Policy & Public Administration (Walden University), a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Studies (University of Southern Mississippi), and an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development (Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College). A lifelong learner and professional, she is a licensed insurance agent and soon-to-be licensed real estate agent.
Her political and civic leadership includes serving as: • At-Large Executive & Communications Specialist, Moss Point–Jackson County NAACP • 4th Congressional District Executive Committee Member • Board Member, Mississippi State Democratic Party • Treasurer, Jackson County Democratic Party • President, Moss Point High School PTO 2025- Current • Advisory Member, of Moss Point High School CTE Program & Superintendent’s Parental Committee
In addition to her advocacy, Dr. Stallworth is an international gospel recording artist with two albums released and a forthcoming project titled “Queendom.” A celebrated television host and producer, she has used media to uplift communities, inspire change, and expand awareness of social issues.
Her accomplishments have earned her numerous honors, including Marquis Who’s Who (2024), Gulf Coast 100 Successful Women (2024), the Dr. Duranice Pace “I’ll Always Be Thankful” Award (2022), multiple Gospel Choice Music Awards (2019–2024), and recognition from P.O.W.E.R. Magazine (2022–2023).
Deeply committed to service, Dr. Stallworth is a global philanthropist supporting communities in Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, and India. Her legacy continues to inspire new generations through her initiatives in youth empowerment, mental health awareness, education, and faith-based leadership.
