Friends,
This Sunday we will gather around the powerful words of Jesus found in John 17:1–11. As Jesus prepares for the cross, He offers a prayer filled with love, hope, and one of the most beautiful promises in all of scripture:
“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”
So often we think of eternal life as something far away—something that begins only after this earthly life ends. But Jesus speaks of eternal life as something that begins now through a living relationship with God.
Eternal life is more than endless years. It is life filled with grace. Life shaped by hope. Life rooted in love that even death cannot destroy.
In a world that often feels hurried, anxious, divided, and uncertain, Christ reminds us that true life is found not in possessions, accomplishments, or status, but in knowing God and walking daily in His presence.
This Sunday we will reflect on: what eternal life truly means; how Christ continues to pray for His people; and how we are called to live with unity, compassion, and hope.
There are seasons when life can feel fragile and temporary. We watch time move quickly. We experience change, loss, and uncertainty. Yet the words of Jesus remind us that God is already at work planting eternity within our hearts.
Because of Christ, hope is stronger than fear. Love is stronger than division. And life is stronger than death.
I hope you will join us for worship as we gather to hear again the comforting promise that we are held in the eternal love of God.
Until Sunday, stay blessed and stay a blessing.
