If you missed Camp last year, here’s a few pictures of our time at camp. We had wonderful fellowship, outstanding Services, and a lot of precious memories made. We hope to see you this year in Englewood, Tennessee at Camp Livingstones for ARUKA 2026. We’re expecting more campers and look forward to meeting new brothers and sisters in the Lord, and their precious children.

Hey Everyone,

It’s almost time for ARUKA…

If you plan to attend, the waiver form needs to be filled out NOW. We need them as soon as you can get them filled out and sent in.

You can try to fill them out on your phone, or print them off and fill them out. You can either take a good, clear picture of them and text or email them to me… Or you can mail them to me at:

The date for camp is September 25 through the 27th, that’s Friday through Sunday. The deadline for registration is August 15.

The camp in Englewood, Tennessee, where are having ARUKA this year, WILL NOT LET US REGISTER ANYONE after August 28. So I MUST have a list of EVERYONE who is planning to attend and those forms completed.

We are STILL working to get EVERYONE’s fees ($87/person) paid in full. But we HAVE to know how many are coming.

Fill out the waiver form (only) and send it back to me. This form is for children and adults. Everyone must have that form filled out.

The other form is just to show you the price breakdown from Camp Livingstones. That is what we are trying get covered. We will be happy to take donations so that everyone can attend or if anyone feels like they would like to pay their own fee, they are welcome to. 😁

We are looking forward to seeing you all there! Please help us out… Get those forms to us and secure your spots so we can plan accordingly.

These 2 forms are regarding ARUKA 2026.

1. The Waiver form must be completed by everyone who plans to attend camp this year. Please print that form, fill it out, and return it to me at the following address:

2. The second form is part of the contract I had to sign when I got the Camp. It is simply an explanation of the cost to attend Camp from Camp Living Stones.

$87 is the total to attend camp.
$50 is the deposit that is required to hold your spot.

We are hoping to have enough funds to cover the fees for everyone who plans to attend. With that being said, we will gladly accept donations from anyone who feels led to do so. We just wanted to be transparent with you and let you know that these fees are going to Camp Livingstone and not to us.

Any additional donations that are received will either be used towards helping the ministers, assisting with the cost of activities, supplies, or put toward next year‘s camp… If the Lord permits us to continue ARUKA.

So Please, get your waiver form filled out and get it back to me ASAP. Don’t worry about the fee right now, but you still have to send me the form and save your spot. There is a lot of planning that has to be done on my part and this is a way that you can all help me out… By committing and filling out your form!

Final notes:
1. Yes, it does have heat or air-conditioning if necessary.
2. No it is not open air like last year.
3. The accommodations are much nicer..
4. We have our own chapel to have services in.

We are hoping to have a wonderful time and we hope to have you with us.

PLEASE SHARE:
We have an announcement to share with everyone. ALL SALES from “Buddy Said” between now and September 1st will go toward ARUKA, our youth/family camp that happens at the end of September.

The Johnson Family fully funded last year’s camp, which was around $5000. Thankfully, we did have some donations during camp to help with a portion of that cost.

This year, the camp is being held at Camp Livingstones in Tennessee. Due to this change in location, the cost for each person to attend camp is $82. This fee includes accommodations and meals from Friday evening to Sunday morning. We want to reduce this cost as much as possible to make it more affordable for everyone. We would love for it to be free! So far, we’ve had donations but it’s not close to what we need to make the cost manageable for our campers.

Therefore, my portion of any sales from “Buddy Said” will go toward the cost of camp. Now let me explain this a little better. Because of the way I published my book through Amazon, I didn’t have to pay a big setup fee. However, this caused me to only receive a fraction of the sales. For every hard copy that is sold, I am paid $4.80 and $3.80 for the ebook. I just want that to be clear so you will have an idea of how you are helping.
