“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,…” Colossians 3:23, NIV

Work is a gift from God. We were created to use the bodies God has given us to honor Him by being productive and useful. Rest is also a gift from God. Jesus once told His disciples, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest” (Mark 6:31, NIV). Our lives are to be a balance of work and rest.

When we work, we should work hard as though we were working for the Lord. The Christian’s life belongs to God. He is our Master. Though we may serve others on this earth, we ultimately serve the Lord God and want to work in a way that honors Him.

In fact, everything we do in life should be done in a way that will honor the Lord. We are not owners of our lives but stewards. Our lives really belong to God – all of our lives and all of our time. In fact, today belongs to God. Live today in a way that will honor Him.

Gather the family this morning and come and worship! Commit this time to the Lord as you bless your home and nourish your soul!

We are so thankful for an incredible 50th anniversary celebration! We enjoyed worshipping God together and hearing testimonies of God’s faithfulness through the years. We eagerly look forward to how God will continue to use Trinity in the years to come!
