Mourning POUR: 2 Samurai 6:5 “Celebrate You” There is something powerful in learning to celebrate what God is doing in your life. We tend to hesitate because we don’t want to seem as if we are bragging. We miss celebratory moments because we down play it. David’s praise was public. You should be able to hang with people who celebrate you. Scripture says all of Israel celebrated with David. We can all testify to the fact that without God we wouldn’t be where we are. Many people know how to doubt and self criticize themselves but you need to know how to stop and celebrate how God kept you. Celebrating is about the breakthroughs. Reflect on what you have had to endure. Celebrate the progress you don’t have to wait for the completion.

Morning POUR: 2 Corinthian 4:2 Renouncing and overcoming shameful secrets. There are some things a believer has to completely renounce which is to walk away from it completely. We want God’s power publicly but are protecting secrets privately. God can’t fully bless what we refuse to renounce. Secrets create distance between God and us. God is looking for honest people not perfect people. We have to be transparent with ourselves. Freedom begins when we stop covering what God is trying to clean. Healing happens in the light. The enemy deals in secrecy. Sin is exposed so we can be delivered. What you confess God can heal but what you hide it keeps power over you. A clean conscious gives clarity and confidence in being a witness for God. Whatever does not honor God you have to renounce it. God wants truth in your inward parts.

Morning POUR: Psalm 90:12 Before you do a final home purchase there is always a final walk through to make sure everything is to your expectations because once the final job is done corrections can be made but not only is it harder but the cost is much more. God gives us moments of spiritual walk through. This is where areas are pointed out to us that need to be adjusted before a permanent pattern is formed. This can be in our relationships, attitude and finances. Often times we know change needs to happen but we delay. Delayed obedience leads to deeper damage. God is building something greater in you don’t delay the final walk through make the adjustments now.

Morning POUR:Acts 1:8 “The Power We Can’t Live Without”: Many try to live this Christian life though emotions, willpower and intellect alone. You can not be a Christian without the power of the Holy Spirit. Information without power is no good. We need the Holy Spirit for guidance. We need divine direction. Everyone has an opinion of what you should do.
The Holy Spirit:
*Convicts us when we are wrong
*It warns us before danger
*Gives us wisdom when we are making decisions
*Leads us according to God’s will.
After the shout we need to know how to walk!
